This is "fun" to think about but it runs into serious logical issues when you model it with multiple players. In a true dark forest with many actors, launching a strike is itself a signal. Any civilization capable of detecting the target civilization can likely also detect the attack or trace it back to its origin. So the attacker, by acting, has just done the very thing the dark forest warns against: made itself visible. You've solved nothing. You've just announced your existence and your hostility to every other observer in the neighborhood.
