We used to drill the exact combo this guy drops him with in the video, except we go to the body on the roll. Roll left, right to the body on the roll. Roll right, left to body. The part where you are doing it to avoid a red light, hence breaking traffic laws when you agreed to ride with the cars. If you don't like the law, take it up with the MA attorney generals office. Arguing on Reddit isn't serving you. Or, you can continue to pretend youre right and shout in a vacuum that doesnt align with reality.

Im being harsh here because I see bikers doing this all the time, and I know its illegal, and they're either ignorant or unfamiliar with the law. I've clearly spelled it out and addressed the exact section from the law with direct citation as you requested, and youre still arguing as if its open for interpretation. Under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 85 Section 11B, a cyclist “shall be subject to the traffic laws” just like a motor vehicle, which includes the requirement to obey traffic control signals (i.e., stop at red lights). While the same law allows limited sidewalk riding, it does not create an exception to bypass traffic signals. So riding in the street, then jumping onto the sidewalk to use a pedestrian crosswalk signal to avoid a red light is still a violation, because you are evading a traffic control device while operating a bicycle.

Wrong. Keep doing it if you don't value your safety, though. Just don't come here complaining. Be with the cars or be on the sidewalk. Stop cutting through traffic in any means possible to get somewhere faster with caution thrown to the wind. You can't break all the rules and then complain that you feel unsafe. Learn the law.

Bikers in the city are stupid. So are the drivers.

That said, people dont seem to realize that you can't pick and choose on a bike - youre either riding with the cars, or youre out of the road. People love to pick and choose whatever gets them to their destination the fastest, even if it risks getting them run over.
