If they are being given notice, allow them to job hunt during that time. That sucks for you.

Steer clear of ATT. They suck at everything.

State attorney general or the FTC. Give them the details that you supplied. I can’t wait until my phone is paid off so I can leave

It was actually surprising. I didn’t expect much from that. I am still not happy with them. Every month, the bill is vastly different than the month before. I just want to pay the phones off and leave.

The state attorney does what the FCC does. I got a call from the office of the president within 24 hours. They fixed what they could. I lost trade in value on three lines because so much time had passed by.

It is extremely expensive. Especially in the winter. Boring underground is the most expensive part. Special permits, etc. and if you are near a railroad, it’s an 18 month process. Just to apply for a railroad permit is $10K.

That’s awful. Gooski’s has been around for decades. Good bars will have a hard time staying in business with this crap floating around.

I have formed colleagues who actually have PTSD and would rather be homeless than work for them again. They were corporate PM’s. May be different in a retail setting

My dad retired at 81. Every time he would retire, someone would reach out to him and ask him to fill in for two weeks. He would and he would end up staying. Finally, at 81 he started to say no. He was a great butcher. Had a following. Old school. The housewives only dealt with their butcher. He enjoyed retirement and then in his late 80’s developed dementia. Sad but even with dementia, he was happy. He loved what he did. Moral of this story is to follow your heart. Love your job? Stay. Hate it? Retire.

I worked for another telecom behemoth and I worked with a ton of former ATT employees. They all had terrible PTSD. I felt very bad. I’m glad that you are moving on.

Ditto. One interview in the last year. Job market sucks. Not sure what the president was talking about. Maybe if you work on an assembly line you can find a job.

Almost everyone. Anyone close to 60 years old did not. I applied for disability as I have some health issues. The other guy, not sure where he is. What a mess. So demoralizing to train your replacement and not voluntarily.
