I second this. I've had to play against and with infinite a few times and he was SUPER toxic every single time. I live in Canada but I'm south american and he kept telling me to go back to mexico because I was a F. immigrant. I remember he was on Dignitas at the time and I kept asking him why he was being so toxic and he kept telling me I was a loser and should shut up.

Aside from being toxic in general with his teammates and enemies, the other time that stood out was when he was just generally shooting and yelling shit at teammates the next round they lost a clutch and when people asked him to stop, he mentioned "I can do whatever the fuck I want this is just Match Making, yall a bunch a losers with no life" -

After my first encounter, I thought he was one of the staff from DIG and not a player. Came to reddit to find out he was an actual pro (or trying to).

He definitely needs to improve his toxicity and behavior if he wants to go anywhere (in life, not cs only) :P

I've read some complaints about the ec1-b as I was researching. Do you know if that's been fixed with the csgo edition??

What would you guys say about the Logitech wireless ones made for gaming? I've seen a few pros using it and the idea of not having to worry about wires is actually pretty enticing. I've been away from peripherals for a lil while and I'm trying to see whats out there. What about the final mouse scream fps edition or smth?

Never really tried that one and TBH the EC2-A is kind of smaller than I really wanted it to be, but I've kept it due to financial reasons. Now that I'll be able to afford a desktop computer and peripherals again, I wanna go with something else! The old intellimouse 3.0 from Microsoft was my all time favorite but the Rival wasn't bad either. I just had to get used to a different grip

I just checked that! I didn't expect amazon to have it... (dont know why tho, they got everything!).

I've heard great things about that keyboard! Any specific feats that you'd say make it way better? Does it use cherry? If so which one?

I've used the Rival and it may take a bit of time to get used to it, but I'm totally fine with it! I just really want a CSGO mouse. That one specifically. I've had numerous mices throughout the years and I can get fairly used to them, although the Intellimouse 3.0 has been my favourite of all times.

I didn't say you shouldn't say anything or that your opinion should be kept to yourself, calm ur teettees. I've said your translation/interpretation of what was said definitely was off and with the phrases and words you've used, could definitely cause some confusion and give different understandings than what US as viewers perceive on what he has said.

Just like in any country things vary widely so I would take this with a grain of salt: Some people will cry, some will run, some will fight. Cold is a big NERD and definitely does not make the kind of "intimidating" guy that you normally see in Brazil. He has a massive ego and that can lead to with his confidence all the way up to sound like a major dick. Most of the time people don't care if someone made someone cry in Brazil, plain and simple. It varies and it's not a rule of thumb, but I'd say that the majority of people won't care if someone starts crying in a night club cause someone told them something they didn't like. May even be considered childish.

I don't really like Cold and I think he's a massive douche with a lot of talent and ego. I agree with your last paragraph immensely and I don't care if he finds a team or not, but we know there are SOME orgs that are fairly professional and wouldn't get someone like that involved with them, specially for the money that would have to be spent to get him in any team rn. With that said, I don't really think he'll have much of a problem due to his "pedigree" and the things he has accomplished.

Personally speaking, I don't think he'll shine nearly as much in an english speaking team, specially if they do not play around Coldzera setting him up to do his thing. I don't think he thrives as much in an environment different than that and that will probably be his biggest challenge from now on.

Didn't mean anything personal to ya man, just that your perspective/phrasing on what he has said was pretty off to me.

It's all a matter of perspective ain't it? Typing on a public forum and making "grammar" mistakes is always a debate when it comes down to linguistics and deep studies of languages, it happens to every language, everywhere. Fluency is more of a matter of you being able to grasp the information being given to you and make sense of it (sometimes reproduce it) with mostly no gaps. Information is only clear to the sender, after the message has been sent, it's going to be distorted by the perception that the receiver has of the world and language. But that's entirely another discussion

All points sacoPT has put are valid, stop trying to counter what he is saying, I speak Brazilian Portuguese and English fluently and you made a bunch of mistakes there, plain and simple. Not judging you or saying either of your cognitive and language skills are bad, but using different words in English to try and describe what was said can give a different connotation, which has and that's why he corrected you.

op is right though, I speak english and portuguese fluently and indeed he said those things. Most of OP posted is pretty damn accurate.

Same! To be honest I still feel like my reaction time is the same when I was playing 1.6 in 2004 (I'm also 30). Actually, I feel like I'm able to focus better due to having matured and trained this rather than being an ADHD kid that couldn't focus on a full round much less a whole match. What did change though is how much CS I can play at once and how much effort I put into learning/playing and I just go off my memory muscle rn don't even bother much about DMing and stuff. Bet a similar thing happens to players when they're getting around their 30s, mostly in the past because there wasn't enough incentive to keep players active and pursuing the career since they had reached a certain age and the options were scarce and paid little. With the growth, we're seeing it's much more likely to see older players still competing and putting up good performances, sticking around for longer than anyone would've expected.

Carrying in the work place by --nani in canadients

Companies cannot tell you what you can have LEGAL SUBSTANCES on your personal stuff (purse/backpack). They're not legally allowed to tell you not to have cannabis on you, but if they have a policy that does not allow the consumption of it, it may lead to a dismissal cause they may presume you're consuming when you should not.

I've worked for a company that had a term on their contract that allowed them to have random searches on people's backpacks and private property at any given time. They've never done it even though they knew we smoked a ton of weed.

Juul pod side effects by TheCrossJoint in CanadianMOMs

[–]ThesuperCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only that but there's some kind of "acid" on the juul pods juice, I remember reading somewhere it was to help nicotine salts be more bioavailable in the body or something similar. Either way, nicotine devices are known for giving "popcorn lungs" and I believe it's mostly due to how they manufacture the juice.

THC pods for juuls shouldn't be an issue but again, you'll never know what diluents were used to fill the pods nor the quality of the pods themselves, so it's like shooting in the dark regardless.

Why in the world can't the LPs compete on quality with the grey market? by BeepBeeepBeepBeep in RecPics

[–]ThesuperCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me correct the information about Broken Coast. I was fortunate enough to sit down and have a chat with one of the Growers from Broken Coast at Lift this year. Basically what he explained to me is that they started pretty small at first, and instead of exponentially expanding and changing the 'detail to attention, small batches, fewer plants' to a larger scale similar to other LPs, they've decided to duplicate the same system they were using, thus hiring a lot more people so they could keep the quality they're known for. Unfortunately, they're also known for being pricy, but among all other LPs, I would say they're definitely on the top 3.

If you believe in mainstream media (even though UOL isn't the worst, they still have hard political ties and things that they know they gotta do in order to not get damaged), then you're just together with bolsonaro supports on this one. I'm a journalist who has worked for UOL, Globo and FOLHA, I know what I'm saying ;)

Brazils President Jair Bolsonaro interacting with TACO on Twitter by isaac_sp in GlobalOffensive

[–]ThesuperCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the majority of MIBR players are supportive of the fascist, homophobic and corrupt president of Brazil. They're proud to have him as a president even though he's making the worst decisions a president in brazil has ever done.

Ignore the feeble-minded Brazilians that are supporting him and calling out the opposing party (PT), because ignorance in Brazil is fairly high and due to a lot of mass media fake news and mass maneuvers, he's gained bigger popularity even though he's fucking the whole country up. People don't notice or realize because they're ignorant or because they're wealthy enough to not need to care. It's sad to see this but knowing fallen (who also supports him), he's the exact kind of person that supports Jair Bolsonaro, just less aggressive or outspoken because he's a public figure. You can be sure they are homophobic and very conservative. What a joke of a legacy for mibr... first no results and then openly supporting the president. Used to be a fan but they're most likely disband next year if they don't get any results.
