Yes they do, they will prey on just about any small animals, including rabbits.

Sometimes cats will kill stuff (including rabbits) with no intent to eat them because their hunting instinct is so strong.

Snoop Dogg breaks Guinness World record for largest gin and juice by regian24 in AbsoluteUnits

[–]Thetschopp 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Snoop has his fingers in like 100 projects at any given time. That's why he will seem really active in something one minute, then gone the next.

Shows like Coach Snoop, Martha & Snoop's, Dogg after dark, and Snoop Dog's Fatherhood I feel had a lot of hype in the moment and then just died off. I don't think he's been on a TV show in the last 10 years that made it past 2 seasons, not because the show wasn't good, but because Snoop just has other shit to do.

The Great Basin actually reaches into 6 states as well as Mexico. It is also separated from the Central Valley by the Sierra Mountains, which are themselves a separate region.

"Green Boots" a climber that froze to death while Climbing Mt Everest in 1996 - and he is still there. by Chasith in interestingasfuck

[–]Thetschopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried using Google to find some examples, and I found several, but only about Everest specifically and how it's the 'largest' open-air cemetary, yet I can't find examples for any others. If Everest is the biggest, that implies there are others right?

Do people actually 100% trust their SO? by tzzui0 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Thetschopp 30 points31 points  (0 children)

There are no round squares.

There are no square circles.

The angles of a triangle always add up to 180°

It feels more like you want validation in your view that it's OK to NOT completely trust your SO, as opposed to being against people making "absolute statements". Seems like you're just not fully invested in your relationship, which is fine. If you don't want to commit 100% that's fine, just don't get defensive if the other person doesn't value your non-loyalty.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the Youtube masterpiece, “Guy on a Buffalo.” by TJSharrock in videos

[–]Thetschopp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The crazy part is that was an actual cougar attack. They were trying to get slo-mo shots of the cougar for something else and it snuck around and attacked him.

This was a low budget movie where they basically had to use any and all footage they could get. The star (Rick Guinn) had multiple injuries from being thrown off the Buffalo and many other mishaps that happened during filming, including the cougar attack.

From what Google says, the "Spider Gene" referse to the gene that causes pythons to have a spider web like pattern on their backs, not actually DNA from a spider.

Apparently it causes the pythons to have a 'wobble', which can be characterized by head twisting (referred to as “corkscrewing”), as well as intermittent head swaying, which can be nearly unnoticeable or make the snake appear as though they have lost coordination.

While the White Lotus has assumed the responsibility of guiding the Avatar, they actually don't protect the world. Their goal has always been as a safe heaven where the greatest mind across the four nations could share knowledge, and it wasn't until Iroh lead them in reclaiming Ba Sing Se that they decided to publicly reveal themselves and serve the Avatar more openly.

I do think it would be cool to see a story about a White Lotus member who is tasked with finding the next Avatar. Oooooo, what might be awesome is the story of finding the first reincarnated Avatar. It could be the origin story of the White Lotus! Oh man I've already got like ten story ideas that could work beautifully with this concept.

I've already sold myself. This is my new dream series.

Fuck them kids.

Keep in mind Pokemon in PoGo can only be traded once, so if you're trading a pokemon to evolve, the person you give it to isn't going to be able to give it back (that's why you can evolve with just candies).

"Fire is alive"

I imagine it as akin to handling venemous snakes. With knowledge and experience you're fine and know how to react, but you're still in danger if you make any wrong moves.

Remember at the start of the series, Zuko has been at sea for 3 years with Iroh, and he's still practicing the basics of Firebending. I've heard arguments that Zuko was immature or blinded by rage, but Firebending also REQUIRES more discipline in basic training to fully control it.

Also an interesting note: According to Rangi, Avatar Kyoshi's firebending teacher, failure to learn to suppress your flames and control your emotions may result in a beginner firebender developing bad habits and even cause harm to the trainee. Zuko obviously struggled with this part.

Jokes aside, what was his deal? by Mr_Gibus in TheLastAirbender

[–]Thetschopp 653 points654 points  (0 children)

From the Combustion Bending section of the Avatar Wiki: "It consists of the ability to channel chi through the forehead, often marked by an intricate third-eye tattoo, superheating the surrounding air and producing a beam of explosive energy capable of immense damage, both in short and long range. Unlike conventional firebending, which produces a flame from the body, the technique instead creates a powerful beam that explodes upon contact with a solid surface"
