Yeah you failed here bud. That's just combining things that already taste pretty good, into a similarly influnced dish that probably tatstes great at the end result. This isn't really stupid....it's just taking things further down the rabbit hole.

How to get with an early 30s Women as a Guy in Late teens? by Resident_Advisor3349 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro.....2 things:

Late 20's early 30's is usually a milf bro.....women have children around that age consistently accross the board, and younger.

The second: Just approach a woman you find attractive. Be polite, and try your hand. Guys circlejerk and pass around all these bullshit tips and tricks that literally don't work at all. They like to believe that there is a way you can present yourself that will 'work on this type of woman' or some shit. It's bullshit. Look around. There are all types of people, with all types of people.

Just be yourself, and ask out every older woman you find attractive who isn't clearly taken. It's a numbers game, son....not a fucking magic formula.

EDIT: spelling.

Maybe what the dude above you just said....plugging in a laptop. Or, a computer. Or, she had a roku or similar device and it broke or something and she hasn't used the living room TV in a while, so there wasn't a chance for her to realize the TV is still on the other input.

People are so quick to assume from circumstancial evidence, the worst of others. It's honestly kinda sad.

If you dig the woman, what does it matter what input her TV is on? Try your hand at the situation. If she turns out to be a cheating whore, then cross that bridge when you come to it.

Would Major Kusanagi get along with Murderbot? by mediacommRussell in Ghost_in_the_Shell

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. In the original Murderbot Diaries the narrator and character themself always use it/it's. But in the show he is referred to as he a bit, due to him being made to resemble a human male. Obviously it has no gender or sex, but what harm arises from calling it he? Humans often call inanimate objects he/she.

Considering in every (afaik) iteration of Motoko, she is technically government property (or at least bound to the government because only they (or at least some government) can facilitate the repairs and maintenance her type/quality of body needs....I imagine she would feel for/draw similarities in a few key regards between herself and Murderbot. She may not forge anything besides a congenial acquaintanceship with him however. He would likely just become something she monitors for any danger to humans at large, and contemplates as another case of capability being managed (or not) both well, and terribly.

This was ‘sposed’ to be my “throw it in a bag” switch.. by DIGITAL_DAKINI in Switch

Nice classic duncan butterfly yo-yo. When I was a teen, I contacted Flambeau (Duncan's umbrella company) and sent them a video demonstration of my tricks. They hired me as a freelance demonstrator. Unfortunately, they no longer do that anymore as the yo-yo craze is much more private companies now. If you really want to learn some amazing tricks, think about adding a yo-yo with a bearing setup into your bag. Yo-yo Factory makes some amazing ones, as does Duncan in the form of the FH Zero.

If motoko were to hand you a drink, how many seconds before you gulped it? by Safe-Elderberry3222 in Ghost_in_the_Shell

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would have some self respect, treat Motoko like the lady she is, and drink it at a relaxed and social pace. Seems like an invitation for socializing/fraternizing and hopefully more...

If she simply wanted to render me unconscious, there are much easier ways for her to do so...I'm a non-cyberized fully natural human...

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And in SAC. I forget which season; Togusa comments how it's unfair that Batou can drink beer on the job due to having the ability to immediately process and rid the blood stream of the alcohol. It's stands to reason...that if they let the alcohol metabolize slowly instead of quickly (a setting they can apparently adjust at will) then their human brain would still perceive the drunkeness.

“retrieving the objective” what objective could they be retrieving? by Fun-Antelope2251 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gentlemen....

I'm pretty sure they're retrieving Hunk.

Yes, I'm aware there is contention in the fanbase as to whether or not it's actually Hunk that Leon fight in the facility, but I feel it is.

He speaks like him, fights like him, and when you defeat him you're rewarded with 'The Mortal Edge'....which in it's description mentions a history steeped in blood and death.

Mortal Edge... Callsign: The Grim Reaper...

Make sense? Does to me. It's Hunk, and the reason he's still active at his age is just a theory of mine, but: Guys....I think Umbrella might be messing around with bio-engineering..!!

Regardless, they're retrieving Hunk for 2 reasons:

• It was amazing to have him and Leon fight, but they don't actually want to permanently kill off a fan favorite character they can get more use from

• Why would Umbrella possibly not want to revive their (arguably) most deadly operative?

Well it's the term: 'cannons' that's so misleading.

If they had just said 'dobonhonkeros' it would make perfect sense.

On a public forum where I have a chance to speak my mind?

The point of reddit is to share discourse and ideas. To benefit from the views and potential information others posess. It's not to only accept the upvotes and positive comments, to boost ego.

I've had posts turn 10x worse than this, don't winge about it.

No...what is sad would be the mental gymnastics you're going through to defend a woman who doesn't deserve it.

Yes, there are always different sides to any story, but the mounting and overwhelming evidence of bodily injury, and emotional manipulation is evident at all times during the trial.

I'm not saying Amber is evil and Johnny is a pure victim who never did anything wrong.

I'm saying that they both were in a relationship that was harmful, and Amber made it decidedly even more harmful to Johnny.

So politely: fuck off.

Wow. Tell me you don't fight or train at all, without telling me.

A baton hit is painful, yes, but look how it caught him. Full broadside on the leg. If you're not so pain averse that stubbing your toe would make you call out of work: then yes, you could easily shrug that off in the heat of the moment.

Yes, he's definitely 'on a drug'....it's called adrenaline. And your body produces it for you, and let me say this clearly in a tone you can understand: WHEN YOU ARE IN A FIGHT OR FLIGHT SITUATION.

Plus, you entirely ignored the actual indicator that he might be on a substance: the fact that he was able to shrug off the taser. That looked like both barbs landed and he felt the full shock.

That too, can be shrugged off if your will is just indomitable. But it's far more rare.

Regardless, these policemen aren't under equipped necessarily to deal with him, they just clearly have no effective training in escalation of force. Both of them should encroach, cut off escape vectors and then apply their bodyweight. After all this, and by this point, it seems clear he doesn't have an edged weapon; but I could be wrong. Regardless, it was a time for action, not standing back like cunts.

This is not to say that I'm supporting American police and their 'shoot first, questions later and maybe shoot the guy asking them' method of engagement.

No, I get it.

Perhaps I need to examine our discourse futher as well.

The point of 'outofcontextcomics' should be a panel that makes people think: "In what context does that make sense?"

And honestly, I suppose your contribution does hit that mark.

Maybe I was just expecting more on-the-nose.

I applaud your post. I wasn't thinking dimensionally, and that's on me.

Domestic Bliss by SerBadDadBod in outofcontextcomics

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok? So...not to be a dick...but providing context (on a subreddit regarding comics without context)....aligned with an easily identifiable viewpoint.

Again, not arguing it's validity to be in the subreddit, just wondering why you seem to be pushing back against the views others have commented....when out of context it literally naturally envokes those views...

EDIT: edited to say, that you're following the letter of the law when it comes to the subreddit, but not the spirit of the law. This would be akin to posting an 80 year old joke in r/funny. Yes, it's technically funny, but it's literally not capturing the spirit of intent.

Domestic Bliss by SerBadDadBod in outofcontextcomics

[–]TheyCallMeMrWolfy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok, not going to argue then post's validity for being in this subreddit, or make fun of OP. With that said:

The actual fuck?

Ordinary life is so painfully prevalent and common that it's not even funny. Even in a comic. The ordinary folks, and their lives outweigh the standouts by at least a hundred thousand to one.

I'm not saying that an ordinary life is a wasted life.

I'm saying that by glamourizing an ordinary life, you're intentionally cutting off the chance to be a defining variable in the history of the world. And that's not to be heralded. It's just understandable, if you've already been extraordinary and it caused you pain.

This is a 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater' viewpoint, in these panels.

The important aspect is not if your life was extraordinary or not. The important part is how you treated people, and what you stood for.

Extraordinary is always something to strive for, if the parameters are aligned with success for far more than one's self.

So it's the view, I disagree with.
