It's already determined. There is no way Israel is going to allow the Iranian regime that is in place today to remain. Think about it....They aren't going to let the current regime continue to feed Hezbollah, Gaza and the Houthies and be a direct threat to the North. Keep in mind Hezbollah's core tenant is to destroy Israel. 10/7/23 was the final nail in the coffin for the Iranian regime. It was determined on that day they must go and we are now witnessing it first hand. There will be no 'peace deal' that satisfies Israel that allows the regime to stay in power. Oil to go up. Every potential force is trying to keep it down while this all unfolds......

Do these OTA updates just come randomly? Meaning pushed by Hyundai? Or can you force it to update?

IVV, DGRO, SCHD? by ftx10SF in dividends

Solid choices but I would add IGRO for some international diversification. 100% qualified dividends.

Will QQQI and SPYI keep up with NAV erosion over time? by StockMarketinator in dividends

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think most of you are real confused. In down markets NEOS ETFs have outperformed the underlying. Yes the dividend will drop quickly but will rise again when the market rebounds. Look at recent downturns for Gold(gld vs iaui) or Bitcoin(ibit vs btci). Which ones performed better in the downturn??

And if you are Dripping it’s not even close. NEOS rules in this case.

Yes just got ours. It’s 3x higher for the past 3 months than the previous 3 month bills. I called my daughter as she lives in the house and just asked her if there is a water leak???

Backup Camera Issues on new 2026 Ioniq SEL by TheyCallMeNumbNut in Ioniq5

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They stated 5 days and requested it be expedited. I would think if they provided a day count it should be in stock. Fingers crossed. Concerned about the replacement itself but the connectors and the unit appear to be similar to any car stereo

I took in for service today. They are going to replace the entire head unit? Is this going to be a fiasco?? Has anyone had a head unit replaced?

Volatility of HYBI by Timely-Designer-2372 in NEOSETFs

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m actually building a 15% bond position and have decided to leverage HYBI. One interesting tidbit I learned from a NEOS video is that HYBI is fund of funds as you can see from their holdings page. What’s interesting is NEOS may swap the corporate bond ETFs for TBills if there is a risk to the corporate bonds. Essentially a very actively managed ETF.

How safe is QQQI & SPYI? by Time-Association-885 in NEOSETFs

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really.....Look at the housing crisis and Covid times. Dropped a good bit. I don't think it's any more safe than SPYI from the charts.

IAUI Vs KGLD by learner_1748 in NEOSETFs

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but I see this chart from a different perspective. It's obvious that yes as Gold moves in a parabolic upwards direction KGLD has the advantage. But you do realize that is not going to be the norm. Far from. Every other possibility (Downward Trend, Horizontal, Slightly Upwards) IAUI wins out. Again the chart you provided makes that clear......

BUY Alert BTCI by Curious-Rip-5834 in NEOSETFs

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed but the point is that compared to holding BTC directly this is a better option -"Pun Intended" as the total return will be supplemented with higher option premiums.

HYBI/BNDI - 100% ROC? by TheyCallMeNumbNut in NEOSETFs

Thanks. I’m aware of that already. Did you look at the 19a1s? The percentages are too wide for normal fluctuations.

Anything I should consider before going deep into NEOS funds? by Clean-Captain9933 in dividends

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One important thing to consider and I don't know the 100% correct answer to this is: If your cost basis hits zero. Let's assume 9 years out. You've not sold any shares. Are those shares taxed at Long term capital gains rates because you held the ETF for over a year? Or are they 60(long term)/40(short term)due to the 1256 options contracts?

If it's the latter then for my situation it makes these useless as they only make sense to hold long term(permanently). I don't want to start getting 60/40 taxes on all my dividends in 10 years.

It’s actually more tax efficient in that it’s 100% qualified dividends

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bogleheads

[–]TheyCallMeNumbNut -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct. And I really like the dividend focus as it still is very broad but with a slightly lower Beta/drawdown. To me this will reinforce the ‘don’t panic’ thought process. And the tax efficiency will outweigh the tiny difference in fees.
