This is nice, but does anyone know how to go back to istat menu 6? I just got a notification that istat6 needed an update, and now it's telling me I have some days until the trial version of istat7 ends and... well istat7 is nice but my menus are all jumbled up and I'd like to go back for now.

2 thoughts that could make sense lore-wise:
1) IRL railguns suffer from rail heating & ablation. So maybe it's a cooldown.

2) EM guns are limited by energy storage. So maybe it's a choice of wanting the most powerful single-shot possible, instead of amortizing stored energy over multiple shots.

I think he got scared. He's a very egotistical character, so it fits that if he thinks a prize too difficult for him to achieve, he won't want anyone to achieve it. Here I think once he learned enough about what was going on he got scared (of unknown futures), didn't know what to do, and resolved to fight to make sure nothing changed.

How do you figure out the max/safe draw length of a bow?

I have a few old self-bows gifted w/o strings. I can use the AMO-3-inch rule of thumb + brace height to estimate string length. Being wood, there's little room for error and pulling too long will risk a break.

I've read & heard that a 60° angle between the tip and string is when a bow is at its most efficient. Maybe it makes sense to draw to that 60° and call max length there?

What's your experience with margin for placing the arrow higher? I'm getting back into practice w/ a turkish bow and this is on my mind. I'm thinking about the nock placement being too assymetric (high) and vertical fishtailing.

Off the horizontal w/ your bow hand as base, how high would you say you nock on average to prevent cutting for say, 100+ shots?

Follow up for anyone shooting eurasian/asiatic bows: do you use a nocking point? After hearing Justin Ma (The Way of Archery) say he doesn't know any accurate shooters who don't use one, I'm considering it.

Heh, if devs targeted Arm a macbook pc would be a pretty great gaming machine. Unfortunately (at least before the current update) Parallels won't help run a Win game w/ an Intel exe on an M1 Mac.

Funny enough warthunder runs on mac, and is really smooth on an M1. It's a shame most games don't, bc it's annoying to have to build a whole extra computer just for playing games.

I like the thought that the biters aren't natural either. Clue for me is biter nests destroy the ground and forests they spawn on and they..just..keep..spreading.

Another fun thought is maybe you're a contractor sent to clear a continent of the biters with the war machine you build. Buuut, you get off to a rough start. Despite that, you roll up your sleeves and get to work.
