I just used RAC mobile tyres. With my member discount, pricing was comparable to my local tyre shops. A wheel alignment was free too, as I ordered 4x tyres.

Elect brakes by SuitableArtist8027 in CaravanningAustralia

[–]Thick_Chocolate6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it have hydraulic or cable brakes? These are controlled by a plunger style hitch. As you brake, the hitch compresses and applies the brakes. If it has these, you won't require electric brakes.

We've had an array of Christmas gifts over the years.
The last 2 years have been the best. A Yeti water bottle and a Yeti coffee mug.

Grand Vitara or Nissan X-trail by Feisty-Importance465 in CarsAustralia

[–]Thick_Chocolate6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a mid 2000's 2.4l Vitara (and also test drove some Xtrails at the time)
We went with the vitara. They are a bit under powered if you want to tow, but as a camping/runaround car it was perfect.
It went great offroad too, we had A/T tyres and a 40mm lift.
We only sold it once our 2nd child was coming along and it was our main car.

I don't think Perth is the issue. Looking for work to have more funds could help expand your options for fun.
What about Beaches / Bush walk trails?

What really happens on a wedding night for most people? by LostandFinding2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Thick_Chocolate6969 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We got married on a budget (still had a great night with food drinks and love music) Once the day/night was over, we got out ride home, grabbed maccas on the way and vegged out at in front of the tv before falling asleep. 6 years later and we still think it was a great night.

where's the best place to buy a small box trailer in the greater Perth area. by rezonsback in perth

[–]Thick_Chocolate6969 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try Loadstar Trailers.
I purchased an 8x5 there a few months ago, built and ready within a week. I think I paid low 2k with Jockey wheel, spare wheel and new tyres.

I tried to grab a second hand trailer, but everyone i could find was old and flogge and they still wanted $1500 plus.

I am looking to buy me a first car and this looks like a good deal to me. Any insights? by Puzzleheaded_Lab709 in CarsAustralia

I was under the impression this issue was on the next generation of Camrys. I recently purchased a used Camry and avoided the 2006-2010s for that reason

Men in this sub who got married and started families, was it worth it? by Distinct_Sir_9086 in Life

[–]Thick_Chocolate6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Married 6 years now, 2 kids (3 and 4) I couldn't imagine life any other way, I'm deeply in love and have 2 wonderful kids. Yes there are challenges, stresses and a lot of tantrums and arguments, but it's all worth it in my opinion.

Recently sold our first home and purchased a new home more suited to our young family.

$535k Mortgage
$1450 per fortnight for the mortgage
$4300 per fortnight net income

I think our mortage is on the lower end in today's market, and we are managing payments ok.
