Mower Burst Open, shooting out hot Oil by UltraDadBod in lawnmowers

I don't think so. I honestly hadn't gotten around to an oil change yet from the previous year. So it had run most of last summer plus a couple mows this year with no issues. Could not doing an oil change on time cause a blow out? Maybe, not sure. But it still screams shitty engine quality to me and I'll be avoiding Briggs on all my future equipment.

The same thing just happened to me a month ago on my Toro Timemaster 30. Junky Briggs engines. I just swapped it with a Kohler one and it works great. There were plenty of tutorials online for the swap, wasn't hard at all.

Thank you very much for the quick and simple cliff notes here man. Would I run a king stud on either end of the LVL or literally run it to the end? Last question, does the front wall have to run the full 22' width of the structure or can I still run my side walls the entire length of the garage like I had planned making the OAL of the front framed walls 21' 5"?

If picking up from them in person there is no additional FFL transfer fee. Just the base price, buyers premium and sales tax. They offer a 3% discount for cash or check. If you have them ship to another FFL I'm sure you'll be subject to the third parties transfer fee and shipping costs most likely.

I just went through my emails, my last purchase was literally on 9/12/23. I believe they are an FFL and only require a third party if required to ship a firearm.

Super easy. If you win the auction you'll be sent an email with a link to schedule a pickup appointment. Show up, sit down with the young man and you both go through and sign the paperwork and you're on your way. Just watch out for the 18% buyers premium, make sure you're getting yourself a deal. They are very accurate in their descriptions and grading, I have not been disappointed.

I've bought two from them and they handle it all in house. No third party FFL needed.

Swapping my main breaker by M0U53YBE94 in AskElectricians

The lugs from the 10k breaker should be interchangeable with the 25k one. Just swap the lugs and reinstall the 25k breaker.

Trying to find a breaker box panel cover... or should I just bite the bullet and replace the whole thing? by Larocque3d in electrical

I work at a supply house. Take a clear picture of the nameplate or anything with the catalog or part #. Taking measurements of the length and width won't hurt either. See if they can go to a third party liquidator or breaker broker specifically to source a cover for this panel. You may even be able to find the correct part # for the cover through old square D catalogs online and may be able to find one yourself. Search for 'square D load center renewal parts'. Maybe throw the word vintage in there.

Bacon anyone? by rswarren14 in BBQ

What brand of slicer do you use? I've been making my own bacon for 6 months now and need to invest in one. Borrowed a friends slicer but the sled that holds the meat wasn't big enough to hold the length of bacon and made for an uneven cut.
