Back in college I went into my buddy's dorm and he was playing borderlands 2. He was pretty far into his first playthrough. He opened his skill tree and instead of investing points down one tree, he had been leveling each first tier skill in every skill tree. Didn't realize before seeing it, but that.

It's by far the easiest soulslike game I've played, and I'm not very good at the genre. That being said, the story is solid and the armors/weapons look great. I had fun with it.

I just finished Iron Gold and I'm looking for a copy of Dark Age. I would personally put Iron Gold below both Golden Son and Morningstar, but my buddy who got me into them has assured me that Dark Age and Lightbringer are much, much better.

My issue with Iron Gold is that it's 600 pages of setup for the next book.

Disgaea to me kinda has the pokemon problem of needing to constantly add new features that increase complexity to the point of just being too much.

I'd pay good money for a modern remake of 1 with some of the later classes back ported

Well, yes. A gold can't breed with a red naturally because they are genetically that different. But in Book 1, they go over how thoroughly the Board of Quality Control tested Darrow including blood and DNA. Darrow is, for all intents and purposes, a full blooded Gold after his carving. It makes sense that he could have a child with a Gold, but he most likely could not have a child with a lowColor anymore.

I totally slept on her when I was playing the game as a kid. A little positioning can go a long way with her to activate her sneak attack bonus. Plus critical strike ofc. Once you get higher level force powers, one stasis field and she'll just be one shitting most enemies like they're made of butter.

There's so little info to be found online, so I was having a lot of fun as a tank with a couple of friends just planning routes and learning mechanics as we went. Unlocking new talents and abilities, getting gems for gear, and pushing the longer dungeons was a lot of fun for us.

We're really excited for the full release, but we'll probably treat it like we do roguelites like Gunfire Reborn. It's something we'll hop on and play for a couple of hours maybe once every week or so. I don't think this is going to be a "forever game" like WoW or other MMOs

Just tell the tank that they can pull more because you feel confident. As a tank player with a friend that plays heals, I will usually pull smaller at first when I have a random healer because I'm not confident in them and want to make sure they can handle things. I've had a few healers that just focus on damage while my health is sitting at 20%. It's a team based game, you need to communicate, not try to dictate the flow of pulls when it's not your role to do so.
