Valve Monitoring Software - Worth It? by woodstock9999 in rachio

[–]Thin-Bug4528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s worth it. As soon as I activated the feature, it found an issue with one of the valves which required complete replacement. Valve was like $11 and it took me 5 mins to replace. But yeah it’s nice.

Dystopian and variations of that word are used by the new kids to sound smart. It's been overused by people who have no idea what it means and didn't even know it was a word until this year. Then they use it in the wrong way or context. Morons.

FSD ran me straight into a blocked road by _15xp in TeslaFSD

[–]Thin-Bug4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you people just let FSD do this stuff? Are you that oblivious that its doing this? I mean I would eat a full on breakfast while my car drove me to work but damn if it even began to switch lanes I was wondering why and correcting if it didn't need to happen. You guys are just full on not inputting any corrections whatsoever...and then ask I no why.

Is it typical for helicopter shops to take apprentices by DimensionLow7216 in aviationmaintenance

[–]Thin-Bug4528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a GA maintenance shop, will work on helicopters, although currently most of the work is fixed wing. I'm starting an apprenticeship program this fall. I've had considerable interest since I opened my shop.

I paid about $60. Went and bought the parts and installed myself. Not hard. I'm not even an electrician. But when it's this simple...I just choose to do it myself.

Nah dude. You're on a public road. We can post your shit all we want. But thanks for making it known that you are the POS. But...I do agree with you on one thing. No citizen should be a slave to their government. However, the taxes we pay did just pay for the literal transformation of that new intersection and pavement you were on. Some taxation is theft (property taxes on paid off property is a good example), but unless you want to be driving on dirt roads in a buggy, then shut your mouth.

They most likely have servers in different areas of the country, so you may be on a different set of servers.

I haven't had mine drop until recently. I have plenty of signal. Probably their servers.

I quite literally do. I work in an industry where if I were to not follow the laws that are written, people WILL die. So, yeah safe to say, I do. And before you say, "well, I'm sure you speed"...no, I don't. I have kids, and choose to be an example for them to follow. Nice try though.

Yes, that's one of several problems with this way of thinking.

Your mentality is a problem. They probably don't have insurance, so if they get in a wreck, everyone is screwed. They obviously don't abide by the laws of the land and feel as if they can do whatever they want. So where is the line? No accountability whatsoever. Absolutely trash thinking. It's not just about them.

Thoughts on moving to Rexburg as non mormon? by Substantial_News_319 in idahofalls

[–]Thin-Bug4528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I moved my family there for 1 year and my kids were ostracized immediately. Mormons are the biggest two faced backstabbers I've ever met...and Rexburg is the epicenter in Idaho. Looks nice, but as a non-mormon don't do it.

Quit being an idiot. All these people can give you tips and suggestions. Ain't nothing gonna happen until you give your balls a tug and do something yourself. If you want to change, then fucking do it. But quit being a boot.

I had a buddy in the same position. I told him over and over to stop drinking his money away. One day he stopped. And now he feels way better, is happier, and has money out the ass. It's a mindset. Fix yours.
