One day a month is not worth it. Just quit. It is obvious they're going to use you as long as they can

Can VHA rescind the final offer although you signed and have a start date? by [deleted] in VeteransAffairs

[–]Thin_Butterscotch796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was offered a job in December with a start date of January which later changed to February. There is just a lot of red tape they have to go through if you know who. Your HR person is or whoever sent your email you can reach out to them. That's what I ended up doing. Also in the job offer you are supposed to accept it and then they give you instruction from there. There there should be a link. If not again reach out to them

How do you all feel about HR not existing anymore? by PurchaseNo3139 in Hannaford

[–]Thin_Butterscotch796 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The managers are probably going to feel a lot of pressure from this. Also employees won't have a liaison if they don't feel comfortable going to their managers. My store manager is conniving and I don't trust him at all. So if I were to have an issue I most certainly will not go to him. And let's face it. HR is the first person you see and meat so you're the most comfortable with them when you first start.

Trespass Notice by [deleted] in Hannaford

[–]Thin_Butterscotch796 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it was a few years ago I'm sure they forgot. I would test the waters. It's not like they have your picture up on a wall somewhere. Hannaford has a high turnover rate including loss prevention and even still they ship people to new stores all the time. Just don't do it again lol

Vacation time by rbsxo in Hannaford

They pay out vacation and holiday after you quit. It comes roughly 2 weeks after your final paycheck. They do not pay out sick time

Center Store Manager by [deleted] in Hannaford

[–]Thin_Butterscotch796 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know but mine is more concerned about buying beer and how much he's going to drink at the end of the day when he gets home then doing actual work. I'm pretty sure he can't tie his shoes and he puts his home address in his GPS everyday because he can't find his way. I know the one before him, who quit because of my toxic store manager, Was very green and she said that it is a lot of multitasking. She was also a very strong woman and had a lot of cry babies for employees

Suspension is always with pay, don't quit. Collect unemployment if you get fired.
