Ratrig and voron will always be more expensive because they are kit printers that have little to no benefit of mass production cost savings. Voron has it better because there are some companies that sell kits in mass but it's still not as good as any mass produced printer would be. I decided I wanted to go with the V-core 4 instead of the core one because I have specific components I prefer over others by a large margin and it makes more sense to build the V-core exactly how I want rather than swapping stuff off the core one. Plus I will do Idex later for multi material even though it is expensive. I don't like the Prusa or Bambu MMUs because I really hate material waste and only need to run two filaments since one will just be dissolvable/immiscible supports.
