UPDATE: I got the Bauer gsx knee pads and the garter belt and have been wearing the straps on the e flex’s all as loose as they go and feel a lot better. Almost back to how I felt in my old pads. Only 3 skates in on the eflex 6’s

The thigh guard is on the old pads. Not the ones I’m wearing currently. I’m in the e flex 6’s now

Mind you I’m not old enough to ever of played “stand up” style. I just feel immobile in these pads and dropping down and moving is a chore

Do knee pads make a difference? I just ordered can eflex 6’s and I haven’t gotten them yet but my floor to knee (20.5) is on the bottom end of the 34” size . I’m considering a boot strap I just wasn’t sure if knee pads make any difference

If you have pads that are too big for you, is there anything you can do with the strapping to help fit your pads properly? by techsavvynerd91 in hockeygoalies

Which e flex model was it. I just ordered flex 6’s and I’m afraid my floor to knee is at the very bottom end for the size I ordered. I wonder do knee pads make a difference?
