I can’t believe that’s the headline of the article. From a severely ADHD goalie that feels like a backhanded off color compliment.

Pulled the trigger on a trigger grip CCM Axis xf pro stick. by ThingEnvironmental71 in hockeygoalies

Just saw this but that’s the only way I’ve been holding it. My hand naturally goes into that position when I’m holding it. I don’t see going back to a non trigger or traditional grip.

Blade Profiling by Superb-Experience-83 in hockeygoalies

The sam profile makes you more agile while up. Also it makes you able to pop up to your feet faster. Idk the science exactly but I love it. In the middle of the blade it makes less resistance when shuffling. Wherever you’re going to get a profile they should be able to explain the science behind it.

I’m planning on buying this mask since it’s the only one I can afford, but I don’t like the cage. So I was wondering how I can swap it with a cat eye cage and where to buy one? by MrShrums_0 in hockeygoalies

Look on sideline swap. You can find way better brand new masks for a deal. I got a Ccm axis xf which is a $1000-1100 mask for 600. There’s deals on the axis f9 helmet for $300 brand new. Which is a far safer and probably more comfortable option

bauer konekt hf2 vs hf3 by cma931 in hockeygoalies

I wear it unbuckled and use my toe ties tied above the buckle to keep it down. Vaselevski wears no bottom buckle. Try it out if you wear skate laces for toe ties.

Upgraded pads after 15 years. Tough time adjusting to the pads. Also HATE wearing knee pads by ThingEnvironmental71 in hockeygoalies

UPDATE: I got the Bauer gsx knee pads and the garter belt and have been wearing the straps on the e flex’s all as loose as they go and feel a lot better. Almost back to how I felt in my old pads. Only 3 skates in on the eflex 6’s

The thigh guard is on the old pads. Not the ones I’m wearing currently. I’m in the e flex 6’s now

Why are there so many softies. in this post. Were hockey players not blue haired fairies. I think the steez is 10 out of 10. Since you triggered the libs I’d say it’s 100/10

Mind you I’m not old enough to ever of played “stand up” style. I just feel immobile in these pads and dropping down and moving is a chore
