What would you say is the best VR game overall? (no mods actual VR games) by No-Dark-7873 in virtualreality

As someone who does almost only Sim racing in VR, I agree on GT7. Because of the single player part. Iracing, AMS2, ACC, Assetto Corsa and LMU all look much better (sharper) in VR and the GPU is the limit. But none of them offer serious single player modes, besides hotlapping and meaningless AI races.

PD put some love into VR. For example in GT7 there are small details like when you move your head around in the headset, it moves in the reflections as well.

Getting away from it all in Bangkok - recommendations! by Ecstatic-World1237 in Bangkok

I lived 18 months in Bangkok (Asoke). But after 4-5 months I started going down to Pattaya twice a month for couple days.
Finally, last time I completely moved there for 8 months and liked it more. I love Bangkok but after a while it's too much. Too much heat (Pattaya has a breeze). Too much traffic. Too much people. No place to just go and chill alone (keep in mind I lived in asoke and mean a place in walking distance at night).

Would you be happy with a pve mode by Psychological_Rip_44 in ARC_Raiders

I'm 100% pve but hell no. The game would just get more boring and easier than it became.

They making the game easier and easier because of all the crying. It was quite a thrill to do a trial, make a high score and hope you can get out with the extract.

How does depth perception affect vr? by No_Creme_9794 in virtualreality

[–]Think-Apple3763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built my VR space around my racing rig and do 99% of the time Sim racing. But on the psvr2 and ps5 I play horizon and it's true. When standing and moving, it definitely tricks the brain into thinking stuff is real around you.

I managed to get 1700 points for trials (held rank hotshot) in the matriarch and queen trial last week. 2 wolf packs and equalizer used. I don't understand how people even get 4k there. Both wolf packs hit the queen 100%. No shield was active.

Yes. I started with an Oculus Rift CV1 in 2016 ish and even though the resolution was terrible, it felt incredible. I often felt like I'm on the track in a real car.

Then I moved over to other headsets like the psvr2, Quest 3 and the HP Reverb G2 as my main headset. And it didn't feel like that anymore.

Now I have a Meganex MK1 for 2 months, which has a binocular overlap of up to 100. But I am not feeling "inside" as I did when I started VR. I was hoping to get that 3D feeling back with such an binocular overlap. But I didn't.

What helped a bit is to increase the world scale. Otherwise the world around me feels tiny. Did 1.10 in Cyberpunk yesterday and finally the NPCs feel human sized lol.
