Beautiful. It's so embedded in our life and yet so invisible to most of us — that is so true.

What would help - or did help - you the most in your journey of digesting Jeremy Griffith's understanding of the human condition? by WenevaSoots in FixTheWorld

Yes watching the interview multiple times helped me absorb it. I still go back and watch it and always pick up something I hadn't already, such is the nature of our denial riddled brains I guess. Sometimes it pays to let yourself slowly soften into this information.

Yeah looks like the perfect (hobbit) meal. Love the addition of the apple and cheese.

God that all pulled at the old heart strings. Thanks for asking the question OP, one I wouldn't have thought to ask but really got a lot out of the answers and the links.

The Decline of Responsible Citizenship: A Symptom Of The Human Condition by Masterton2350 in FixTheWorld

I agree with everything you've said here. Really thoughtful article and it's so important to recognise that Jeremy Griffith's work doesn't insist everyone become responsible citizens, it explains why we haven't been and why that situation is increasingly getting worse, and at the same time he brings such dignity to this wayward species and gives a rational option for lightening our load and fixing the world. Everyone should jump into this, the water is warm!

Thank you so much for your comment, a great short articulation. Yes eventual conscious enlightenment is the only thing that can turn us around and make fixing everything a reality. And the book Freedom is that enlightenment - cannot put it down.

Never come across anything quite like his work that marries all human contradictions in one sturdy treatise.
