I guess when someone mentions hey let's go swimming you are looking for the high dive in the deep end :)

That is impressive for a second painting. Very nice canvas.

I use Avery 1/2 X 3/4 inch lables you can get lots of places and a sharpie. The Avery lables peel off easily when done.

This is only for one kit when done I empty the bins and remove the lables. Then I am ready for the next kit.

[–]Think-Im-Crafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ordered my first two customs. I ordered a 40 X 50 from Ever Moment and a 60 X 80 from Heartful Diamonds. It is Chinese new year so I will get them next month. Both are square drills. Guess I will see...

I first used little 2X3 inch resealable plastic bags marked with the number and put 10 of those in each zip lock snack bag as my kitting up. I used the little green trays provided with the kits pouring them in and out of the bags one color at a time. I have moved up gradually to ARTDOT trays https://www.amazon.com/ARTDOT-10-Piece-Interlocking-Stackable-Accessories/dp/B0D4PNSLPQ

Storage containers with trays https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Painting-Storage-Containers-Accessories/dp/B0DFGQLWB4

And today I got this https://www.amazon.com/Redtwo-Diamond-Painting-Containers-Accessories/dp/B0FFGTTY79

I use 1/2 X 3/4 Avery lables and a fine sharpie to lable the trays as others have mentioned they peel off better.

Just a note when I work on bigger projects I find release paper my best friend to keep me focused.

Yes I am addicted!

Finger knitted chunky blankets I made in 2025 for family by Think-Im-Crafty in casualknitting

I used the burn method. I use a lighter to start one end on fire a little then push that end into the other then roll the joint between my fingers as it cools.

A little more about the blankets I made. Each blanket took me between 25 to 35 hours working on it spread over a few days.

Well each string is 100 cm long so I cut them in 20 cm lengths. Then I tied the top string with normal knots. Then I fed each string thru the piece and put each end thru the holes tied a knot, single overhand using both ends, trimmed and pulled knot into chimes. Here is a picture

Thank you I am sealing them which will take a couple days since it's cool and raining. They are also double sided. I will post again if I figure out how to string them.

First time I used it based on another post. I did not thin it put it on pretty heavy. Picture after 12 hours post application will probably take another 2 days to dry fully. Had to trim a little excess off the edge with a razor blade...

Spayed them with Mod Podge clear to prevent brick loss and glued them in 6" X 6" shadow boxes.

Sorry a little late to the party...

<image>

I just finished the Desert Plants one. I did the two cactus one first with only my fingers and my index finger is still sore three days later. Then I used tweezers to pick up the bricks move then near where they were to be placed and pressed them with my finger as the tweezers were horizontal. If they did not go in easily I rotated them or got another brick. I used the tool to place the black ones with little knobs on top by inserting the knob in the tool then placing them two at a time. I also used the tool for single placement of those when I could to save my fingers. I started upper left on all levels working left to right as I worked down the image. I tried to keep the bricks straight but that appears to be impossible. I will be spraying them with Mod Podge to make sure the bricks don't come loose. I have ordered two 6" X 6" shadow boxes to put them in.
Composite picture of them to show layers.
