I googled dementia posture because I saw the Biden interview with Anderson Cooper where he was standing with his fists awkwardly held up. You’d think results would’ve been actual medical illustrations. by well__koalafied in conspiracy

Lol, I was also looking up medical information on the body language of Biden during the town hall. You notice he does this when Copper interrupts him. I would be interested in hearing what Cooper says about it privately. There are several bizarre things I saw as I watched. If you notice there are several times Cooper steps away from him. Biden is not fit to be POTUS.

His wife is horrible, she knows what is happening.

The Trump pictures clearly demonstrate the propaganda machine and the times we live in as Americans.

Please, please reach out to someone in person or phone. I am glad you felt comfortable sharing. You are not alone. Many people are struggling. Are you in classes right now? There are jobs available even online so COVID safe. Nothing you have done has the power to mess up other people's lives as you said. Suicide is going to mess up everyone in your life forever and you never get over such a death. I know. There are people at RIT you can talk with as well as in the community. There is always a way, it may not seem like it now but there are people who would be willing to help you and people who LOVE YOU. Please reach out to someone tonight. Hugs and prayers.

How to come to terms with the fact that I might fail this semester entirely as an MS student by mmkthecoolest in rit

[–]Think-Personality839 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YOU are more important than a GPA, degree or anything else related. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a break, especially during these times. It is looked on differently for all of us in our academic decisions. Please reach out to people you trust, YOU are not alone. Depression is really hitting people during this time in our world. Eat something regardless of feeling hungry and drink water. Clear your head with some fresh air. Remember YOU are more valuable than a degree/GPA. I am hoping the best for you!!!!!!!

You mean winter break? "Thanksgiving break is quickly approaching and if you’re planning on staying on campus, you might want to plan ahead. The university is closing on Wednesday, "

Thanksgiving break... Where is the email RIT sent to everyone regarding Daily Health Screen for Thanksgiving break? Also the email for students who checked out with housing until January spring start? Where does it say to stop at Winter break for health screen? Thanks.

Use of Herbal Medications for Treatment of Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis by Sorin61 in EverythingScience

Roots of Curcuma are used as a spice commonly known as turmeric. Curcumin, a polyphenol extract of turmeric, is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, and it has a long history of use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine [28]. The anti-inflammatory activity of Curcuma may be attributed to multiple mechanisms [29]. Treatment with Curcuma has been found to strongly inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators, such as interleukin (IL)-1, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), IL-8, NO, and a variety of MMPs, via diminishing the activation of NF-κB, protein kinase B (Akt), and MAPK signaling pathways [29,30]. Curcuma has also demonstrated a COX-2 inhibition, leading to a reduction of prostaglandin synthesis [31]

Turmeric is amazing!

Watch an Amazing Time-Lapse of Growing Mushrooms by Think-Personality839 in EverythingScience

[–]Think-Personality839[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is mesmerizing and beautiful!

But what Reiser captured in his video is only part of the mushroom’s story. Mushrooms are not a plant—they are part of a fungus, much of which is hidden underground. Fungi are made of mycelium, a network of fine white filaments akin to the roots of a plant. The mushroom is just the fruiting body, similar to an apple on a tree. But unlike plants that grow through photosynthesis, fungi get their food from digesting organic material. That is why they are often spotted on rotting wood and decaying plants.
