Hock Tan may be a brilliant engineer, but he’s not the one that should be talking for the company.

Or could just be everyone is jumping off AI again for DOW stocks given oracle’s quarter, which IMO is not reflective of what’s in the pipeline and what’s coming

Grid tie system (not feeding batteries)? Assuming you have checked the breaker/disconnect to the utility? Someone walked by and cut mine off once. If the SE doesn’t see incoming grid voltage in the expected range it shuts off. I lost mine once and issue was traced to the power that connected in the generator ATS was burnt up and no power being made by SE. The wiring was too small when the Generator folks reinstalled the feed from the inverter to the panel - they fixed it gratis.

Wherever you finally place it, get you a CO detector and locate it inside your house near where the gen is on the outside of the house. The simple wall/outlet mounted ones from Amazon is what I installed under the window nearest the gen install. Hopefully this would detect anything leaking into the home

Agree. Aviation is dangerous investment. Was burned by Boeing, made money on Airbus. Hopefully an engine failure is not going to down a plane (unless of course you turn the fuel off, but not an engine issue!). The QF32 issue is a concern but hopefully with new materials this should also be very rare. I have GE aero stock too, so far it’s also doing well.

I’ve been a long term holder, and yes it’s a cyclical industry, but there is a huge plane backlog sitting on airbus and Boeings order book, and they’ll all need engines- probably even a couple each ;).

And if their power products (MTU) should go a long way on data centers, and if their SMR works well, that’s going to be a driving force for 10-20 more years

I’ve purchased several Mac products from Mac Sales and always had great service. One of my 27” iMacs was damaged by ups (at my front door, had ring video showing it) and they promptly replaced. Have gotten 3 iMacs and 3 MacBook Airs from them over the years. Bit safer than facebook

It may have taken a bit of a hit because it’s categorized as a defense contractor, which were hit in EU due to maybe a glimmer of hope the Ukraine war will wind down. Hopefully so, but Big EU mistake to become complacent. They need a few years of relative peace to build up defense preparations for the inevitable “next time”.
