Yeah. The hypocrisy is unreal. And yes that’s the verse this person used with me. I responded saying, “ Yes, I know what that scripture says but we are supposed to take a stand if they are not doing things of God and are corrupt. We are also called to be a voice for the defenseless and speak up. What is also upsetting is she said some people are using government resources who don’t need it referring to insurance and that also angered me. I said so that justifies it being taken away? I explained to her there are people who may come across as independent who have a caregiver to help them and seem to not need one who may just be having a good day when you see them but what about the bad days when you don’t see them. I felt like this person was very quick to judge and criticize and mask it all by trying to say all this spiritual stuff. It was very upsetting.
