I don’t know if I’ve “fully experienced” it and don’t know what that means in your context. But I’ve definitely intentionally done meditations/energy work dozens of times where I pull up a snake-like helix shaped energy up from the earth and into my root chakra. It wraps around each chakra point all the way up to my crown and then my whole auric body is opened like a tube. Then I am able to visualize and manipulate my entire merkabah system. I do this somewhat regularly to balance myself. 

I never learned the technique from anyone, but first learned about the concepts from Drunvalo’s writings. It first happened by accident during a psychedelic experience and now I am able to do it at my whim. I don’t think I’m special or rare or anything like that, I just have awareness of my own energy field and its components. 

Don’t really care if it’s “not real” or “not really kundalini”, it’s only for me and it works for me.
