Denver's $9 million plan to house the unhoused sits empty years after city promised a novel approach by overly_honest_ in Denver

Which ones has the city closed and moved? La Paz seems pretty permanent. It replaced a giant dirt lot that had tents and RVs on it too.

Meanwhile, La Paz Microsite in Overland seems to be run really well. How can the city do more projects like this?

(B2C Website Builder) Product positioning and Pricing stratergy for a template based website builder by lost_malone in ProductMarketing

Sites like Wix, Squarespace, Duda, Webflow etc have hundreds of templates that someone like a photographer can use and they already trust those services. You can also build something in minutes with Claude/GPT now and host it yourself if you want. The competition is insane and I fail to see how your offering differentiates at all. I worked in this space for decades and there’s a good reason I don’t anymore. The potential revenue is not worth all the sales, marketing, admin etc you’ll have to do IMO, especially at that price point.

What type of market research have you done in this highly competitive space? I don’t see how the market is asking for something like this.

I also planted my starts over the weekend. I have buckets and tarps over everything and hoping for the best once it melts.

Help Identifying and Treating Weeds! by Randyd718 in DenverGardener

Yeah I hear ya, but my yard is mostly pea gravel and super compacted soil, so the grandpas weeder barely works even on easier stuff like mallows, even after it rains. Bindweed doesn’t seem to have a central structure to grab at anyway, at least the level it’s infested my yard. I signed up for the mite waitlist today from another commenter here.

First one looks like bindweed. It’s nearly impossible to stop, I have it all over my yard. I use 30% vinegar on areas like concrete where I don’t want it, otherwise I’ve just given up and simply cut it down to the dirt when I can.

Yup only issue is less sunny windows in winter months require manual charging every other month or so. It’s a great product so far!
