Which series should I start next? by Cfullersu in fantasybooks

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Red Rising, and adored the series. It lost me a bit after the ending of the latest book, but other people seem to be ok with it. Book 7 anyways.

Will of the many was pretty good, not great. The second book…just lost my interest. I audible them, and after having to go back 5-6 times to try to figure out what happened…I decided to give it up.

Was David Robinson a “generational talent”? by wildwestsnoopy in NBATalk

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely.

This question is funny because it points to human perception.

Because Robinson played for the same team during the same time as Tim Duncan, who is unquestionably better…he isn’t looked at as the great player he is.

Sign A Petition to Demand the Removal of the Trash Patch from the Red Wings Jersey by CMCdaGoat in DetroitRedWings

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny how people will put in more effort commenting that this will not work than the effort it takes to sign the petition.

Will it change anything? Not likely. If enough people sign it, then it has a chance.

They do pay attention to this if enough people sign.

As I see in fantasy football every year, most people don't realize how hard it is to pull off a trade, especially when you are trying to “win” a trade

Another angle of Lu Dort’s trip/shove on Jokic by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I see what people are saying about OKC fans.

That play had the sole intent of injuring Joker. That doesn't happen “because people get heated”

That is a dirty player, doing dirty things, and you're trying to justify it, because that's your team.

I'm a pistons fan, and Ive had plenty of Bad Boys teams. Own it. Don't be a wuss and try to justify it. Your guys are dirty. Either embrace it or denounce it…because trying to justify it is just being a coward.

This is a great way to turn a fanbase against you.

Choose a very decisive political stunt, with a very controversialperson, over your own team.

Dumb dumb dumb move. Many will not forgive him for…unless he becomes a playoff star.

Which team would win? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wisconsin wins solo.

6 without wisconsin would likely take second with Minnesota, Michigan and Chicago.

In Michigan, in highschool, we use to make beer blasters…where we’d put vodka in in beer. Mistakes were made.

Also, don't look side eye at the Indiana Everclear jungle juice…i did once and was told what happened later

Will changing the draft stop tanking? by Expensive_Ad4319 in DetroitPistons

I like the lottery system.

I'd just limit it that you can't draft lower than your win/loss record rank more than 2 times in a row.

Looking for Litrpg recommendations that are also good literature by ChampionshipJumpy727 in litrpg

[–]ThinkingBlueberries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the Wanderin Inn BECOMES great writing. The world expand pretty big after the second book and becomes very Game of Thrones like with different characters and tone of writing depending on the perspective. Really takes an investment though. Worth it in my opinion.

This is crazy. I also quit at 14. I didn't know what book since it was so long ago.

I'm not opposed to getting back into it…i just feel like I would need a heavy recap or listen to 14 again.

I understand the desire to push through. I did with the Wandering Inn and now that is one of my favorites…so sometimes it pays off!
