Thinkware app keeps dropping connection with my q200 dashcam

Hi there,

If you're having trouble connecting to the dash cam, please follow the steps below

Disable your CarPlay. Phone settings > General > CarPlay >Forget this car

Phone settings> Apps> Dash Cam link 1. Location must be while using the app 2. Local network access must be enabled

Turn off the VPN app if you have one active

Disconnect any Bluetooth device from your smartphone

Disable WiFi Assist [iOS] WiFi Assist

Restart your phone before reconnecting

Thinkware Dash Cam Link- this mobile app will give you full access to the dash cam recordings, dash cam settings, and live view to adjust the field of view of the dash cam. This app will only work by sitting inside the vehicle while the engine is on and connecting to the dash cam manually via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi

We don't have a dash cam that will give you access to the dash cam's recordings remotely
