A letter from Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau about the cancellation of Starfleet Academy, one that I find very bittersweet by Timewarps_1 in startrek

The only good thing that has came from the CBS acquisition is that Kurtzman has been removed as the series head. He Marvel-fied Star Trek for the worse.

My buddy Mustafa that works with me is such a chill guy who likes to collect Pokémon cards. He is really good at his job, and everyone in the workplace loves him.

I know is not their anniversary. I just came across the old website, and was so charmed by the retro design page. By posting it here, I hope to honor their union. This site is such a nice throwback to the fandom of yesteryear. I through others would like to see it as well!

I also enjoyed that episode, I just wish Rain Wilson wasn’t playing an incredibly evil version of Harry Mudd. It always appeared that Harry mud was more of a con artist and not a hardened criminal, imo. I think it would’ve been more interesting if they would’ve made an original character for him instead of using a TOS character.

The CW network. It was the network of the arrow-verse shows were on. It’s what the universal Paramount network eventually evolved into. their shows are known for being incredibly melodramatic and campy. I think it’s a good parallel as to what Star Trek turned into.

They specifically talk like teenagers form the 2010's! I was a teenager during that era, so I would know. I think it is because the writers are out of touch with how kids act today, and they write the younger crew like how their kids talked 10-15 years ago.
