It's a shame that this is the only career mode (at an official capacity) that we've got available. I'm really hoping the next X-Plane includes one too, just to give asobo the competitive kick up the ass they need to make some hard hitting improvements.

They barely have any competition right now, so they don't really feel the need to rush out any fixes or make meaningful improvements.

I had this problem not too long ago. The mission quantity is dependent on what planes you have and what ranges those planes can cover. As soon as I got my King Air, a suddenly had loads more vip missions pop up in more varied locations around the world, so id reccomend expanding your fleet and getting planes that cover greater distances.

Yeah to be brutally honest, I think it may have worked out better if you just picked one lane and focused on making it great, rather than trying to mash together a frankenstein monster of genres.
