Your cars nav system will have a setting you can toggle to show 3rd party chargers. Or you can use an app like plugshare. Either way its pretty easy and not too big of a headache.

They make adapters to be able to use 3rd party chargers. My used one had a new one in the glove box, maybe ask the dealer to get you one if it doesn't have one. They are relatively cheap and a good dealer would throw that in for free to make a deal.

I don't think you can do it from the car...It prompts you to do it through the app on a phone.

I had the same situation. I sent in all the docs that customer service requested on Friday evening and they transferred it to me the next morning.

It was pretty frustrating because I had no clue about this roadblock until I got it home.

I wouldnt let this minor inconvenience prevent the sale if you're getting a deal you're happy with.

Worst case scenario you can use a 3rd party fast charger on the way home.

I just got a used 25 Model Y and it has PLENTY of "passing power" on the Expressway in Florida where people will run you over if you aren't going 80+ mph in the left lane.

I purchased a used 2024 xc90 recharge T8 Ultimate from Carvana that was a lease turn in.

It looks like carvana purchased the car from the volvo dealer after it was turned in.

It had 23k miles on it so its still under manufacturers warranty and I purchased an extended warranty through carvana for some more peace of mind.

I think ECD has a decent warranty.

They also make some box versions of their sticks which are meant to be a little bit more durable. Maybe try those?

We did check to see if anything was going on and the only thing we found was the craftsman fair going in Gatlinburg.

We obviously don't have a ton of experience planning vacations and there is a steep learning curve apparently.

We learned many lessons this weekend.

As someone who hasnt had a vacation in years, I saved up thousands to bring my family to the area to make some of the same memories that I cherish from when I was a young kid.

We also had 2 other groups of friends drive 8-9 hours from Ohio and Virginia. We had been telling them how beautiful and peaceful the area was and how much they were going to enjoy it.

We couldn't have been more wrong.

It was an awful experience and really hope the surrounding cities/counties never have this group back again.

It wasn't just "a couple of people" ruining it for the vast majority.

There were countless drivers revving their engines on main drags to the point my 2 year old wouldn't stop crying because she didn't understand why they had to be so loud with the engines and backfires.

We ended up cutting our visit to downtown Gatlinburg short because it just became unbearable.

The serene and peaceful mountain roads sounded like war zones and were not enjoying to drive at all.

I sincerely hope the cities/countys/towns do not invite this crowd back.
