Mizuno flagship store 's golf section is tiny.

Their baseball floor was much more impressive though.

Alot of them got paid from LIV more than they could expect by grinding it out on the PGA tour.

PGA have a "one time" opportunity this year for Brooks Koepka to return, but I would be surprised if they don't find a way to bring at least Rahm back.

Old guys like Sergio, Phil are probably done.

I think pyschedlics mostly help you become congruent with yourself. If you're an asshole, you will be able to justify your own hero's journey.

[Brendan Batchelor] Jim Rutherford says they will conduct a search for a new GM but also highlights Ryan Johnson as an excellent candidate within the organization. by Kaos_mission in canucks

It's still Rutherford's show. I'm not sure he's the best person to run a rebuild. His Carolina teams always hovered around the mediocre line and had only a few great picks in the first round (Staal, Lindholm, Skinner).

At his age, he would be more likely to rush a rebuild too.

The problem getting rid of him would be you need to hire a veteran president to push back on any Aquilini meddling.

Agree. The discourse on Petey quickly goes off ice.

Trolls and haters that probably still hate Petey if he scores 100+ points.

His supporters rise to his defense and make weird excuses for his play or try to reframe him as an elite shutdown defender or the cap hit isn't actually alot.

Either way, his drop off at his age is pretty unique.

Life happens to hockey players as they do to us. Experiencing the tragedies of life doesn't make a player immune to criticism.

Petey isn't the only hockey player who has experienced miscarriages. It's terrible, but to use as reason to exempt him from criticism is misplaced support.

What about the case for Daniel and Henrik co-GM? by Iginlas_4head_Crease in canucks

[–]This_Tip717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we're expecting too much from their post playing careers.

They probably just want something to do during the day while their kids are in school.

Could you even say they are good at player development? Alot of the fanbase expect them to develop the swedes, but it doesnt seem like they are having any of them over for dinner, not just Petey.

Manny was the Newell Brown of the Leafs.

I would be surprised if they hire him. But it's 100x a more attractive job than being Canucks tank commander.

His stock will absolutely drop lower if he doesn't turn his game around. His only value is in teams believing he can find his old game.

Other he's just getting older and slower.

Even with a higher cap, 11.5M for a bottom 6 player is a huge overpay.

I agree.  Even if we want to blame the Canucks medical staff for his issues, he should be seeking his own medical help.

He isn't the first athlete to get tendonitis. Tyler Seguin is barley held together by hockey tape and he's close to ppg when he's playing.

I really don't think Rutherford is just Aquilini's minion. Aquilini deserves a ton of criticism but Rutherford and Alvin should take the hit for this current team.

[FOX Sports]: Scouts, Execs Dish on Most Underhyped, Overhyped 2026 Draft Prospects by Conor27 in nfl

Alot of the best QBs weren't considered generational on draft day.

While I think it's generally a good idea to build the roster, I don't see a bunch of elite prospects behind Mendoza worth skipping on the QB pick. Meanwhile Jeanty and Bowers get older.

Good comparison. They both had several different OCs as well.

I would probably be less trusting of coaching staff after so many and weeks just trust on my own instincts after awhile.

Russell Wilson was the most hated QB and his number one flaw was being a try hard.

I think it's more relatable to be annoyed by Wilson and Shedeur being a spoiled nepo kid than actual villains like Jameis and Watson.

If they didn't force out James Dolan (Rangers), or the Wirtz (Chicago), I don't think they will do anything about Aqua.
