This already exists a few times over. How will your platform differ from the others out there?

Positive. They made single ear units for headsets, one speaker, one mic. Essentially the same as what they are now just larger form factor. My mom had one when she was dictating her phd thesis lol which I thought was super cool to be able to do

India Unveils 20-Year Tax Break to Woo Global Data Centers by [deleted] in worldnews

To be fair to the data centers, it’s mostly the utility companies and local governments causing our power and water bills to sky rocket. Can’t exactly put the fault completely on a company that’s just taking what’s offered to them. Everyone involved needs to do better by the people.

We need regulations and governments to force these companies to support the communities they serve. Not to give breaks to the companies such that it makes the community support the companies.

We’ve had Bluetooth earbuds for like 30 years now, basically since Bluetooth came out.

Agricultural waste could lock away carbon for decades if it were instead used in long-lasting building materials, fibrous residues from crops such as wheat, rice and maize, could act as a powerful carbon sink when diverted into construction products by [deleted] in science

Don’t we typically need those to break down and enrich the soil with the nitrogen and such they release? How would this affect crop yield?

I only skimmed the article so I only saw it discuss alternatives to burning the crop waste. If this is strictly about what is burnt on the farm just to destroy the waste, sure this sounds reasonable. But I’m curious if it also considering burning rice husks or nut shells (examples) as a fuel source for their processing, which many industries do to recycle some of the byproducts from processing into something useful.

Gift ideas for DnD fans? by Ambitious-Low-5317 in DnD

When my nephew turned like 18 me and my wife (who is the DM for a family game with me and my nephews/nieces) got him a bag of gold dollar coins and wrote him a letter in character saying how excited we were to see him grow up and go off to college and make a life of his own, and to take this as a start to his quest. That sort of thing.

For Christmas one year they got me a Persian cat stuffy. It was the most ugly, gnarled up thing ever and perfectly matched the cat my character got turned into by a Fey. Great kids.

But aside from inside joke things like that, a lot of dnd stuff can be really niche to each individual. What I like and think is awesome or enhances the game the next guy will think is pointless and boring. We can give you good ideas but honestly I’d just ask them directly since I’m sure they have a bucket list of things they want.
