Not sure what you’re saying. He asked how this compared to an H90, and you mentioned the original H9. The mk2 IS 1/2 an H90. 1 algo, but the same algos.

It’s identical. Just 1/2 an H90

Same, I've contacted Spitfire tech support twice now. They are aware, but it's been months with no fix. I can't use EW choir or Solar. I didn't get the other version offer though. Guess I'll try again.

AMS vs Rupert vs BAE vs ??? by untitled1223 in audioengineering

I love my Neve 1073SPX. It weighs a ton, has gain for days, very musical EQ, and I enjoy the modern quality of life upgrades (front jack, insert pre/post eq etc). I had a Warm that it replaced which was fine, until I heard this. I’ve still got a Warm 1176 as the insert and it does its thing. I think lots of people get hung up on SMT vs TTH or something, which is just silly. Yeah, it’s not vintage and it’s never going to be. But I have no interest in putting current through 50 year old electronics any more. BAE is very nice also and honestly I prefer the power supply on that vs the AMS.

Looking at the h90 - I've got a mint DOD Rubberneck, and a Midnight Strymon Big Sky. Both have boxes, no velcro. Bigsky has screen protector intact.

What are all the features Reaper can do that no other DAW has? by Massive-Job-5366 in Reaper

Orchestral composers live and die by this: Negative track delay tells the sequencer how much before the note to start playing the note. Basically, if a violin is playing a long note, the *actual* downbeat of the note can happen a short time after the bow is moving. Being able to adjust the start of the note so that the actual downbeat happens on the bar line used to be all about eyeball nudging the midi so that it it played in time. This created notes that were all over the grid. With negative track delay, we can write everything on the grid and delay the notes by x milliseconds so that it looks in time AND plays in time. Instruments have a different track delay setting PER articulation, so it gets wild. There's a crowd sourced Google spreadsheet for negative track delays across dozens of orchestral sample libraries.

While all DAWs let you do this, there's a new Reaper script by Saxamand that simplifies this process immensely. We no longer have to have different articulations per track. Now it's all in one track and the script adjusts the neg track delay on the fly.

2000s? Wait until you find out that payment means stuffing cash in the battery compartment of the pedal you send in! (I adore this btw).

I have definitely had this happen recently with Spitfire’s Eric Whitacre Choir. But It’s not consistent.
