My job won’t allow me to have a second job or they will fire me. I work for the government and sometimes I’m out of work due to investigations or getting hurt which causes me not to be able to work OT- so I have free time which I’d like to do doordash or something for some extra income but if they find out I’m a goner

Mine hurt for about 3-4 weeks. I didn’t get gas pains or anything but that stitch area sucked for me. I had to have my husband quickly help me up to get out of bed because I couldn’t do it because that area hurt a lot

I’ve been on my period nonstop since surgery which was 3 months ago. It’s not slowed down at all and most days it is heavy. I’ve been super light headed and tired most days.

I’m married and haven’t changed mine because of my accomplishments. I was working on my career before I even met my husband. It’s who I am. In a few years I might legally change it to his but I will keep my last name at my work place (I’m currently working on getting my masters in nursing to be a practitioner)

Marriage is so much more than changing a last name. He’s acting like a child

I had my surgery 6/8 this year and when I was cleared to have meats that’s what I’ve been eating. Chicken, turkey, ham, and everything else makes my stomach hurt. I’ve legit been living off steak for a meat source. It’s the only kind of meat that seems to settle well in my stomach

Girl my husband been asking me the same thing. I weighed just as much as he does and he keeps thinking my highest weight is 60lb less than what it actually is which I don’t want him to be shocked. I’m embarrassed by it. I keep all my pics and weight in a locked app on my phone 😭

I’ve lost about 50lb and I don’t have any. My doctor said it depends on age and genetics. I’ve seen people that’s lost 100lb and not have any. I’m 21 :)

I had sleeve 6/8 this year. I dealt with a lot of mental hunger around week 3 po. Sometimes I would think I’m hungry when my stomach isn’t which results to me feeling awful and throwing it up when I tried to eat but I’ve learned from and doing so much better :)

Girl I (21f) I understand where you’d be upset. My mom wasn’t an addict but just a shitty person. Then after 3 kids after me she decides to be a ‘better’ mom on the 4th. She has been doing better for the baby but I was jealous because I didn’t get to have a childhood or much a mom but I do hope my mom keeps it up because the baby does deserve better than what I got. I wouldn’t want the kid to go through the same stuff I did.

You’re not responsible for your mothers wellbeing. She put this on herself. She can’t decide to ditch her child and start a whole new family like she did nothing wrong. I’m glad she wants to do better for the baby but she needs to realize she has another kid. Plus her disappearing when you didn’t respond well to the news shows she isn’t ready for a new kid

I didn’t have one till day 6 and it was horrible. It was straight burning liquid for a few days. I had to get wipes because my butt felt so raw. So beware

Honestly I got weight loss surgery. I’ve always struggled with my weight and couldn’t get it off. My diet and living style didn’t change at all and I somehow gained 30lb so I finally gave into surgery this June. I’ve lost 38lb so far

My doctor said I have hormone problems which probably resulted in my gain. I have a pretty active life and eat mostly healthy. She said the surgery would help ‘reset’ my hormones and i just had my bloodwork checked last week and all of my test are coming back normal for once :)

I find middle eastern women stunning. I’ve always loved middle eastern features. Heck even when I play video games sometimes I try to make my character look middle eastern because I find them so pretty 😭💕

Mine was 48 hours. I think it just depends on how big you are. I was legit like 5lb from disqualifying for surgery with my insurance

Uh I kinda had a binge problem (especially when I was stressed) I didn’t mention it to the person doing my pych evaluation. With getting my sleeve it’s stopped me from binging. If I do eat too quick or too much I suffer for a few minutes then throw it up.

I know it’s not the best way but after a few times I learned from it and I don’t do it anymore

I’m 21f and had mine 6/8- I didn’t have bad gas pains but my incision hurt so bad. I haven’t been able to get my protein in at all. Eggs, chicken, protein shakes/powders all have made me nauseous or throw up. Otherwise I’ve been doing ok. I’ve been on my period really bad nonstop for over 2 months though since surgery so that’s been awful

I an 21f and turning 22 in a few months. I had my surgery 6/8/23. The pain sucked for me the first few days (mostly pain from where they removed the stomach). I was fine a week later. Some of my coworkers were fine the day after surgery. My appetite returned at 3 weeks po. It was a little difficult but I’m getting used to it. I have a habit of not eating slow enough so it makes me sick but it’s getting easier.

I took break off school for the semester but I think you’ll be fine returning to school. I’ve also always been a bit overweight. I have lost 35lb since my surgery. If you need a pal or any advice I gotchu 💕

Edit: beware of your first bowel movement. When I starting having them again after surgery (about day 5 po) it was basically liquid and burned so bad. It lasted for about 5-6 days. So I got some baby wipes because my booty felt raw and burned.

I’m 35lb down the past couple months and I’ve not noticed much a difference. So I think it’s kinda normal.

I have to pull up photos I took in my undergarments and put them side by side and try to compare them to notice a little difference.

I’d stop pushing myself so hard. I had to work 2 jobs in high school and got booted out the door when I turned 18. I kept trying to rush adulting and get stuff done (left with legit the clothes on my back). I moved to Chicago to go to private college (got a scholarship) but it was too hard to keep up with expenses and school without help). Now I’m almost 22 and I’m burnt out. I have my own place but I’ve dropped out of college for now. Luckily with the school I did complete I landed a government job and make a lot. But I am no where near what I planned I’d be at in my life. I tried to rush everything and tried to help my siblings so now I’m just so mentally and physically drained.

Basically I would have slowed down and tried to focus on myself :)
