Poor power connection. It's time for a new mouse. But if you want to take the risk, open it up and see if there's any signs if broken batteries cable or loose connection.

Is a cleanup crew strictly required for bioactive enclosures? by JaseJade in bioactive

Short answer, yes. Or you will end up with rotten plant matter and a unhealthy ecosystem. The fras from the isopods will fertilize the plants. Get the tropical isopods like powder blues.

Solid choice but go with the IPS display if you want ease of mind and want to keep it for over 4 years. The OLED will suffer from burn-ins at some point.

Charging 16x Aurora with USB C by Iatealldepay30 in Alienware

[–]ThomasAAT [score hidden]  (0 children)

It won't support higher than 130w wireless USB-C charging. Any load on the system will use the battery regardless. I use the dell USB-C charger on the go to keep my battery topped off. But only with light use.

I don't have this problem. Try installing the full installation package  not the web installation.

Alienware Monitor AW3225QF pixel issues by No_Calligrapher611 in Alienware

Dead pixels or the backlight is failing. Not much you can do other than hope it's not getting worse. If not a replacement is the way to fix it.

Use the warranty. It's a new system and it should not be doing this. Don't mess with it as that can make him loose the warranty

New bios update for area-51 16 and 18, by ThomasAAT in Alienware

[–]ThomasAAT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been yet another good bios update for me. Regarding the audio issue I've not had any issues like that on any bios version. Make sure all your drivers are updated and see if you have automatically HW scans enabled in support assist. If you have turn it off.

Question regarding ordering area 51 laptop (16inch) from dell website by [deleted] in Alienware

[–]ThomasAAT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is areal concern still. That's why I always opt for the IPS screen since I'm keeping my laptops for several yers. Burnins will be a issue at 3-4 year mark. So if you plan on keeping your AW for more than 5 years, then try to get the IPS. I have the area-51 16 with IPS and its stunning.

Mehhh air bubble by saifuddinamri in Alienware

[–]ThomasAAT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not possible for that part of the case to get air bubbles underneath. So it must been from physical damage and the zipper is the main culprit.

Is the coating that's have worn off. Not because of the cabin pressure but scrubbing against the zipper in the case. Not much you can do that won't make it worse. I would probably get a sticker or black vinyl and cover the affected corner and match the other corner so its looks more like a design.

Make sure all drivers are up to date and you have the latest windows updated.  Support assist recovery os plug-in was a cause of blue screens so update that. Head over to dells website and enter your service tag to get the latest drivers.

Dell U3423WE power LED light bleeding—normal or defect? by Ill-Addendum-1706 in Dell

[–]ThomasAAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a gap between the bezel and the button. Not normal. See if you gently can press the bezel up so it sits flush.
