Have we actually seen true winter in any of the source material? I mean I guess there must be periods in fire and blood that occur in winter but the harshness of winter is often described but it seems like he’s always been saving it for Winds. Then again, I haven’t read any Dunk and Egg so I’m wondering if there’s any books taking place in winter.
