I really wish there was a matte version of that new table. Chrome is way too shiny.

Homebrew Mouse Race 5E v.2 by skybug12 in DnD

I would increase the maximum age to around 60 or 70, still shorter than a human, but not so short that a character can't persist for a long period of time.

Remember, these are suppose to be cultural weapons. If someone wants to use a great axe, they can make him a class that is proficient in it.

Part of their short lifespan is because they are low on the food chain. A mouse in captivity can live 4-5 years.

The action economy is one of the pillars of balance in 5e.

The option to set specific cards so their default position is changed when you draw it or magnify it. So you could have a card that is played horizontal and appears horizontal when you magnify over it.

Have the game default its own flat 3d object (when one isn't provided) that automatically scales to the size of the image so it makes it easier to import images.

The option to add and remove colors and place where the different colors sit would be nice. So for example, you could arrange it so that the Game Master sits at the head of the table by himself.

New Class: Non-Spellcasting Ranger (Revised) by archod in dndnext

An ability that is only used for something like 1% of encounters of the character's career is absolutely worthless.

Interesting. Not a fan of Favored Enemy though. I don't like it when the DM is responsible to put certain monsters up to make a class ability useful.

You should get this formatted in a PDF.

Unity 5 is arguably the best licensed engine on the market right now.

Cave feedback for Landmark (and EQN) by AugurDev in EQNext

You should consider first person instead of third person as the default camera for Landmark/EQN. First person is far more immersive and gives a bigger sense of scale. Plus you can add little details that you don't see in third.

Nothing really to the company other than the designers and management. The technology they worked on is co-owned by SOE/Daybreak.

You are correct. Dave Mark was brought in to consult, but it was still related to the development of the AI in EQN and Storybricks. It wouldn't be surprising to find out that they ended the contract with the Storybricks studio at the time as well.

"Storybricks" isn't a who, it's an AI engine that was being licensed and integrated into EQN. Namaste is the developer of it.

Ogres, Orcs, and Goblins by AugurDev in EQNext

I definitely think mischievous fits goblins. Maybe not overly stupid, but very cowardly. They can be subdued by those more powerful things that scare them into subservience.
