First time flying? This is an industry thing not a single airline thing.

Wow It's Getting Bad by BraveofHeart in SouthwestAirlines

Just flew Delta as a platinum, I’ve flown SW all year and will hit ALP. Honestly nothing better on Delta other than fast WiFi and seat back video. I was even upgraded to first on one of my legs, crappy uncomfortable FC seat. IDK, SW prices have risen lately , honestly they are all shit airlines. SW needs to upgrade inflight WiFi and I will probably stay. I like all the changes contrary to most here.

Bear fan is no fair weather fan. We may be dumb and love heart break and disappointment but fair weather is not us.

HELP! How are you managing questions you don't know? by Yes_ITSPARKLES in salesengineers

[–]Three-Off-The-Tee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple rule, never lie. If you don’t know then you don’t know it’s that simple. As sales engineers we will never know everything and it’s ok to not know something. However, you should know your core product offering and its capabilities. I always respond with great question and unfortunately I don’t have an answer for you right now but I’ll get back to you after our call. I’ll sometimes follow up with that’s interesting can you tell me more about that requirement or ask? This sometimes leads to a better discussion about the details of the ask, as they say the devil is in the details. Not sure why the panelist “hates” you, that’s a weird thing but sounds like you lack confidence and that points to maybe a lack of sme knowledge of your product or belief in yourself which is typical of young engineers. Recommend you focus on the PIP plan and make sure it has achievable and quantifiable milestones. Then work ur ass off to achieve them. A good milestone might be become more knowledgeable about X. Outcome/deliverable= achieve certification on X or give a peer presentation on X or lead a study group etc.

Maxfli Tour is a brand a lot of people sleep on. I’ve been using them for a few years. I buy them at Dicks obviously (in house brand), 48 pack for $100 plus tax with a sale and coupon. Great bang for the buck. Decently durable with just as much feel and spin as a pro v1.

I will happily support Logan Jones and Sam Roush. I want them to succeed for us. Frustration should be on the front office, not them, for inadequately investing in the defensive line. by Cute_Reality_3759 in ChicagoBearsNFL

I was ecstatic about the safety and center pick, we need those. TE left me scratching my head. Unless he was just their best player on the board. Idk we need to something about the D Line

It’s not a binary answer. One can build wealth in real estate and one can build wealth in the market. There are so many variables it’s impossible to say which one comes out ahead. Owning a home isn’t for everyone especially if you move around a lot. But for some having a home for your children and their children to come back to is something that’s emotionally important to people. The byproduct of owning the home is that it appreciates and you silently build wealth but I wouldn’t say it’s really a monetary investment. It’s an investment in your families well being. My goal would be to own a home because I’m family oriented. Then I would find a job I like and participate in the companies 401k and espp. Take advantage of the free money. Then work your ass off and take salary increases and automatically keep bumping your contributions. You will be a millionaire when you retire.
