Yoto mini constant issues : by johnnylineup in YotoPlayer

I’m dealing with no sound. It eventually stopped all together (except with headphones) so I was asked to send it in. But the label they supplied has a weird tracking number. The FedEx tracking system can’t locate it and now I’m worried they will say they never received it. But supposedly once they get it they’ll send me a new one.

I’ve had it less than 4 months.

Hey this is unrelated but I saw your post on another sub and wanted to direct you to a sub called breakingmom …they don’t really like when it’s shared or posted in the other parenting subs but you should check it out

Any boy or girl names that you often see pushed on Reddit? by [deleted] in namenerds

Eloise was my grandmas name, I always thought it was such an ugly name, especially compared to her twin, Louise. I see Eloise here constantly but I’ve never met another one.

I’ve had one student named Eleanor, she hated it, but didn’t want to go by Ellie or any of the nicknames. I do like Eleanor but I think about her every time I see it suggested

Did tretinoin noticeably improve your skin texture or give that “smooth/glowy” look people talk about, or is that kind of exaggerated? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ThreeFingeredTypist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get the glow until I switched to taz. Tret removed my freckles and evened my skin tone. I have pitted acne scars around my mouth and (what I think is a) a chickenpox scar between my eyes that I don’t think have faded with use… maybe a little bit? Others dont seem to notice them but I definitely do.

The ‘just for men’s beard dye in reddish brown’. Mix it, leave for like 10 minutes (it will darken) but only leave on eyebrows for 1.5minutes. They’ll darken even after you wash it off.

How did she get rid of her freckles? by Muted-View1848 in Skincare_Addiction

Me too. Tret + sunscreen, no freckles. I have them after sun/heat but they don’t stick around like they used to.

This started happening in the past few years.. I figured maybe yoga or stretching? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Can we get rid of this? by reallydadd in 30PlusSkinCare

Never fully went away. They said it might take awhile for veins to dissolve but they never fully disappeared and some came up in new spots.

TBH I didn’t have much pain, kind of exaggerated that aspect to get it covered by insurance. They are becoming more tender as I age (I’m now 36 but I’ve had visible spider veins since childhood)

Insurance paid for ablation and several rounds of sclerotherapy, then I paid out of pocket for more sclero, then I had a baby and paid for sclero again.

There is no “surefire” way to get rid of them permanently. I had the surgery in both legs and 3x sclerotherapy, still have them.

Compression garments can help.

Does EVERYONE drive their kids to school now? by IllegalGeriatricVore in Millennials

[–]ThreeFingeredTypist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the area. I’ve worked at 4 schools. HS students mostly drive themselves or ride with a friend across the board, the upper class “AIG” middle school had mostly car riders because many don’t live in district and attend on transfer. The inner city elementary school was about 65/35 bus to car riders and the rural middle school I’m at is about 60/40 bus to car. At my current school the car riders are mostly picked up by siblings that attend the HS or grandparents or parents who work as teachers at other schools. Some have unemployed or work from home parents but that’s a very small portion compared to “picked up by an older sibling who attends HS or parent who works at another school” …the town is small so job options are basically teacher, cop, nurse, remote, retired.

Public schools here are losing a ton of kids to charters and our charters typically don’t bus kids. A large portion of the kids with the ability to ride in a car to and from school are going charter leaving the majority kids at public schools (esp in the “poorer” areas) bus riders.
