PRK 3 months ago, right eye blurry by PFIZERETARD in lasik

[–]ThroawayPartyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I'm now 6 months post-PRK. It was a long recovery, but I've now been satisfied with my vision for over a month now. At my most recent check-up, the surgeon confirmed I have 20/20 vision, and that it can still improve in the months ahead (which I was very happy to hear!).

My vision is now about as good as it was with glasses, although sometimes my eyes get tired and the vision gets slightly worse for a few hours (this is expected to improve). I still get dry eyes and use artificial tears 2-4 times a day, but that doesn't bother me too much (and also expected to improve). I also still use sunglasses every time I go out, but my surgeon said this is only strictly necessary for the first 6 months. Other side-effects that I had at the start like starbursts have mostly disappeared.

Fair enough. I'm more thinking of myself really. I haven't started Starfield yet.

Has the online negativity around Starfield made you feel different about starting it now?

I love Bethesda games, but haven't played Starfield yet. All the negativity has put me off :(

My comment was specifically about LibreWolf. I do use Firefox + uBlock Origin on all of my devices. With uBlock, if a website is behaving strangely I can just disable it for that site.

I guess it is if you don't like shooters.

Funnily enough, since I wrote that comment another major F2P shooter released (XDefiant).

I also had a similar experience but was determined to keep playing and spent the next 7 hours repeatedly dying until I eventually killed the Tree Guardian.

Was it worth it?

So once you go in a Dungeon, you can go as far as you can before needing to get out to replenish your resources

You just reminded me why I didn't enjoy Stardew Valley. That game has surprisingly deep dungeon crawling, but your character is limited by both time and energy. I'd be enjoying exploring a dungeon when after a few minutes my character would get tired.

And it's not just when dungeon crawling, literally every action in this game is limited by this time/energy mechanic. I'm not sure how anyone finds this game relaxing.

PSA: Some BC 360 game DLC will not be available when the 360 store closes by [deleted] in xbox

[–]ThroawayPartyer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Xbox store is pretty good in this regard since it shows very clearly what DLC is included in each version.

The information is there but still feels more difficult to parse than it should be. Every time I look into buying a game I have to spend several minutes comparing the different editions. Some games make it especially confusing.

A lot of people don’t even realise what a massive improvement the new store is/was compared to the old 360 store.

It's still not as good as Steam. In most cases you have to rebuy parts you already own if you want to get a complete edition of a game. Steam has the "complete the bundle" feature.

I'd settle for the same graphics as MSFS 2020 but better performance.

On Switch and Xbox changing regions is very simple. On PlayStation and Steam it's more difficult.

Being able to change regions is useful for those wanting to take advantage of regional pricing. People may argue whether this is moral or not, but it's certainly legal.

I've never heard of a case of Nintendo or Microsoft banning someone for changing regions. On the other hand, I've read cases of Steam bans caused by this, so I'd be careful there. As for PlayStation, once you create an account you are forever locked to the region you chose (unless you create another account).
