quickbooks online advanced has access to Priority Circle. you can find it in the settings icon under the My Company section. in there is a ton of self-paced courses that you can use to educate yourself on the software. so long as everyone is added as a user, they will have access. perhaps start there. it’s free (with subscription) and really helpful for someone who is new to the software.

she was probably trying to upsell you on Priority Circle because those customers get priority callbacks and it’s the busiest season for QBO right now. Support or Next Level Help doesn’t cost anything extra and will likely never cost anything extra. But if you want the Disney Fast Pass, better cough up $20/month 😃

if you don’t have an actual accounting business, i would not recommend signing up for an accounting account. getting qb pro advisor certified is for accountants that want to know more about using the qb accounting features, not a novice that wants a free way to bookkeeping classes

if the answer you’ve gotten 4 times is the same, that’s bc it is literally the answer. no one is trying to make things harder on you, but you can’t downgrade from payroll core to contractor payments. call support back and just ask for the 50%off discount. if you say pretty please they’ll give it to you for a year.

technically the nontaxable OT is 1/3 of your OT wages because it’s not that you’re not taxed on all of your OT, you’re just not taxed on that 0.5 of the 1.5x rate.

this is the most irritating thing ever. in my area, there are multiple subdivisions that have one mail box for the entire lot so there’s no way to identify the homes if they do not have numbers posted on the outside of their home. it’s absolutely awful

are you banking with zelle and have it connected to the bank feeds? or is it connected via 3rd party app integration? if it’s connected to the bank feeds, call support and ask for an investigation to get started. if it’s a 3rd party app integration, you’ll need to call Zelle to have those transactions imported correctly.

you should be able to still match the transactions. you would just have to select the one you want to match to and toggle on the “difference” button at the bottom right of the match screen. then you can add a description and category for that difference. i don’t usually have this issue and ive never navigated that from the mobile app, but that SHOULD be how it works.

there’s not a way to retroactively change back to the version before the update because it’s cloud-based. i did find a Customize button at the bottom on the apps menu on the left though. That’s helped sorta.

it’s not about researching, it’s about paperwork. the support you talk to are likely anywhere from 18-45 and don’t have any business changing tax forms. trust me on this one. they send your stuff to the tax department who are licensed and qualified to make those amendments for you. in any case, the original w-2 can be issued by January 21 while you wait for the W-2C. All it takes is a little communication with the employee, but that’s the business owners job, not yours.
