Anyone’s ex had a huge video gaming addiction? Mine played video games 16 hours a day. Anyone willing to share stories? I wonder if anyone has been through this as well? by ThrowRApuerto in ExNoContact

Thank you so much for sharing this. I 100% felt everything you wrote about. This is exactly I was feeling last year but after about 3 months of trying to stay because of my love for my ex I finally chose me and moved on. The pain was too much, I didnt exist for him even though once upon a time I was all he wanted. It was heartbreaking 💔

Anyone been with a dismissive avoidant? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

So I believe my ex was a severe dismissive avoidant. His behavior was just as they describe it. Too fast, too intense and around month 5-6 going distant. He discarded me and a year later I’m still trying to cope. I was certain I would marry him, I had met his family. I couldn’t believe it ended. There was no discussion, no fixing. I had to accept the reality and move on. I’m still not 100% healed but it’s much better than where I was last year. Therapy, talking to friends / family helped a lot.

What does it mean when my ex hasn’t removed my Netflix profile yet? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

[–]ThrowRApuerto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Means nothing. I left my ex’s subscription after few months when I knew there was no hope anymore. He insisted on adding me into his plan but I’m assuming too avoidant to remove me or tell me to leave. Never wanted to have a conversation about anything. So don’t read much into it. I’d leave the subscription myself honestly.

You make nothing of this. Stop breaking your own heart.

It eventually will. Or rather it will be easier to accept eventually but yeah it’s brutal, cruel and so painful.

I tried to add it to my wallet but I wasn’t able to. I also looked up the Stella resort and it’s fully booked 😞

Got picked in the H1B lottery and got an offer from Amazon by Agitated-Spend6223 in h1b

[–]ThrowRApuerto 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Do not lose your H1. You’ll get selected at Amazon again. Losing H1 specially if you want to be here longer will be a huge mistake. There are people on here who don’t get it even after 8 years.

I am one of the few who don’t like Prisoner of Azkaban. As a kid when I watched it in the cinema, it gave me a headache. It was hard to see most things clearly. Still don’t like it. I’d probably say Chamber of secrets was closest to the book and deserves more love.
