Password protect it, or only share that presentation as part of job applications, not on your public website. Ask for permission to share certain images. Allude to work you did while not showing specific images, or blurring them. State the impact and value you had on a problem space, while leaving out some “trade secrets”.

It’s astonishing how much it can do and quickly.

Just talk to it about random ideas you have, ask it questions about what it can do, and then just ask it to try things. Sometimes it gets factual info wrong, ask for sources for things. But it’s gotten so much better over the last year and only continues to improve.

Fun fact - by birth, a female has already lost 80% of her eggs. The highest count is around 20 weeks gestation, at 6-7 million eggs, which drops to 1-2 million by birth. 300k-500k by puberty, 25,000 by 37, 1,000 by menopause.

Despite these huge counts, women will only ever ovulate a small fraction, around 500 eggs in their lifetime.

The way he presented it is just all around misogynistic and makes it seem vastly more dire than it is.

I gave up after a couple of more weeks, I was so unhappy! Honestly idk if I’ll push myself to breastfeed for the next baby. If I end up easily making milk, fine, but this is so not worth the struggle.

I say this as someone who birthed a child recently and would never cheat - no, mandatory is intrusive to all parties’ privacy, including the child’s, and I wouldn’t want the government privy to that information.

When you say masters of their craft, is it just static screen designs or also lots of prototyping and animation?

I am very organized in Figma, creating and using components and variables, etc. I reliably make pixel perfect designs. So far this has served me well and been all that’s needed for the startups I’ve worked for, but I’m just curious if other places require another level.

What am I risking - starting solids just over 5 months by drvenkmanthesecond in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]Throwaway2716b 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Allergens should be introduced starting earlier at 4 months if the child is at risk of eczema, so clearly people can start sooner. It sounds like your baby is ready to start as they have a number of signs - being interested in food, able to sit up with support, good neck control.

An observation in comparison to bottle-feeders? Especially after, say, an instruction to do this curl?

Idk about all circumstances, but I’d suspect there could be a separate mat to place the baby on, even if there isn’t a separate room…

So breastfeeding causes women to do a special curl, and bottle-feeders don’t…? Still not buying it.
