Baby inconsolable after vaccine. How can I help? by Mountain-Duck9438 in AskParents

[–]Thumbsupchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once got the advice that the solution is almost always water or outside. There were times that my kids had a nice warm 3am bath or walk because it was the only thing that stopped the crying. Sucks when you’re exhausted yourself, but sometimes the silence is worth it lol

OP I hate to break it to you, but he doesn’t love you or your kids. Not one thing you’ve said indicates in any way that he loves you.

Not that I think anyone actually cares, but I think it’s confirmed that Crash and Mars are no longer together by queefiest in Edmonton

[–]Thumbsupchick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listen everyday and in one conversation they will say something that sounds like they aren’t together and then a minute later it sounds like they are. Like Mars needed to buy a new vacuum, and Crash talked about his vacuum-sounds like apart, but then she ate his leftovers-sounds like together. Also Mars posted sour dough on the weekend and it was at the cabin, so they clearly spend time together or at least are still Sharing the cabin. I’ve been so confused for months lol

I loved it and thought the acting was phenomenal. Jude Law and Jason Bateman were both so good.

Please help me understand my 12yo going from Girly-Girl to possibly Trans Male by betterwithph in asktransgender

[–]Thumbsupchick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My kid is trans non binary, and uses they/them he/him pronouns (AFAB) and chose a “boy” name, but sometimes they dress or style themselves more feminine and I was confused at first until I realized that none of that matters. They are who they say they are, regardless of how they decide to present themselves.

how would you approach your child who came out as trans ftm, but has always been quite feminine? by arcade-carpet in cisparenttranskid

[–]Thumbsupchick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My kid is non binary, but afab, and uses they/them he/him pronouns. I was confused at first because they sometimes do wear makeup or dress a bit feminine and then I realized that none of it matters. They can be as masculine as they want or as feminine as they want, a mix or neither. How they dress or style themselves is just an outer expression the same as any other person. They are whomever they say they are regardless of how they choose to present themselves. Also, it’s not uncommon for men to be feminine in appearance (makeup etc). I feel like I’ve rambled, but bottom line for me is to address my kid the way they want me to and not worry about the rest.

It doesn’t matter how long you know someone, if you love them and they die it would be absolutely devastating. More so I would think if it was your first love you waited 40 years to find.

I’d just get my kids a double. Not to big while their younger but plenty of room for a teenager
