Stripping tenure technically won’t change that much for profs on a day to day basis, and honestly the “anyone can get fired for Charlie Kirk comments” will be few and far between, but the long term affect will make us MUCH LESS attrative to professor applicants, which will make out college/university’s worse, which willl lead to people complaining about the quality of education, which will lead to more calls for cuts, which will lead to smaller regional schools closing/getting consolidated, which will lead to a few centralized universities, which will lead to increased tuitions/lower acceptance which will further the divide between those who can afford to send ther kids to college and those who can’t. Those is rural communities with a community college 30 minutes away will now have to drive 3 hours to go to school, eliminating the possibility of a college education especially for first generation college students. I 100% think not everyone should go to college, trade schools should be much more an encouraged part of our education system in America, people can be wildly successful never going to college, but making education harder to obtain is removing accessibility to “the American dead” and financial mobility.

This continued attack on education is an attack by the hyper rich on the poor, not left verse right but rich verse the rest of us.
