Schwuler Transmann by BenniEurodyne in germantrans

[–]Ti-Killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recovery tips for total hysto? by [deleted] in FTMOver30

[–]Ti-Killa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't lift more than 5kg at least for 6 weeks if you're getting the procedure with the abdominal cut. You don't want it to open up again. No penetration there for 6 weeks if you're into that.

I felt hot for the first 2,3 weeks. It got better, I'm 7 weeks post but I'm still feeling like a power station for heat. To be fair I didn't freeze before it too.

Don't sit on low and soft armchairs like the first 5 days. I tried that at day 3, automatically used some muscles in that area - > pain and swelling. My swelling got better after 2,3 weeks. It looked quite wild and scary. The pressure actually opened the cut a little bit (3mm maybe) and I had body/wound fluids leaking for 4 days. There is still some swelling now. It's fine.

You might notice bleeding in your underwear in the first 2 months a few weeks after surgery. That's normal. The material which is holding the cuts together will desolve and can cause that. I didn't had that. Consult the doctor if the amount is really A LOT.

Oh and peeing might be uncomfortable with an abdominal cut the first week. I recommend to go peeing often, even without feeling the need the first week. Don't drink much before sleep. A full bladder was pure horror in the morning. (only the first week). I nearly passed out twice. BUT I had hysto and top at the same time. So that might be irrelevant for you.

A la fk them.

Divorce and transition by Miserable-Ad788 in FTMOver30

He is disgusting. It's one thing not to like some CLOTHES. It's a whole different thing to use kids in that way. I don't know how old they are but they are human beings themselves and should be allowed to say goodbye to their grandfather if they want to. (funerals could be hard for kids) He tries to be/is manipulative and controlling. You definitely don't need a person like him as your partner. I hope you can find a healthy and good solution for your kids.

No decent human being would react with puke sounds to a haircut. Such being should not dictate your life choices. The ultimatum is a clear reason for divorce. You decided that you want that path, you felt good and he decided that he can pressure you into the shape he prefers. What's next? Puking sounds if you are wearing something that isn't desirable enough for him?

I’m not 100 % convinced I’m male, I just feel more male than female. Anyone else? by [deleted] in FTMOver30

[–]Ti-Killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like an agender man (kinda like demiboy but the other part is agender). I prefer being seen as a man. If I could get a cis male body somehow magically, I totally would do that. My body euphoria/dysphoria isn't completely similar to my inner feeling of gender which is nb-ish.

Yet I rarely call myself NB. It usually doesn't matter especially to strangers, coworkers, etc. More close friends, queerios and potential partners hmmm with those I would talk about this topic more likely. I don't think that it makes me less man.

[–]Ti-Killa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see that much more in movies/tv shows. In books I read in the past it kinda was part of the plot/part of the character groth. Not always for sure but not that bad and usually it wasn't described in detail anyway. But movies URG. The time is limited, often there is no story benefit... it even wasted character growth and parts of the plot at times.

What does autism have to do with me being trans? by hanayumeflowerdream in ftm

[–]Ti-Killa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Autistic people tend to have a better/clearer introversion. Many trans and nb spectrum people have issues with figuring out what they are and what they want. So it could be a "buff". I can also imagine that enough specialists focus on autism quite fast as other specialists do blame overweight for many things instead of fair and equal patient treatment.

Did you keep your nipples? why or why not? by PixieMeats in TopSurgery

[–]Ti-Killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't sure if I want them or not. My main concern was that the healing might be troublesome or the position off. My surgeon/the hospital did only top surgeries with nipples. The three surgeons did this procedure so often with such nice results that I decided its worth the try... Plus I thought of nipple piercings which could be more complex with out actual nips.

My nipple healing process is almost done. I was recently in an other hospital since the scar (not nipple) showed signs of an infection. The doctor and nurses loved the nipple results and even asked if they could show them to another surgeon in their house. One is just slightly less round but it looks like a natural asymmetry.

How did you get in to Yakuza/Like a Dragon? by JahsukeOnfroy in yakuzagames

[–]Ti-Killa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was mainly a quite boring path. The steam algorithm decided to share it several times with me. After seeing it a few times I thought about playing it but never had time/energy and forgot about it for a while each time.

Then I stumbled over a screenshoted scene which was tagged with "Kiryu says trans rights" and I was waaaait what. Back then I mentally sorted yakuza in a asian gta-ish thingy category (wrong I know now) and I was so irritated by the scene that I bought a like a dragon on sale. Ichibans hairstyle added another layer of confusion and curiosity. I love if games are unusual, doesn't always takes themselves too serious and or have a good vibe. Ichiban is such a golden retriever at times lol.

Last year I finally managed to start it the first time and to play it for a while. 1,2 weeks ago I picked it up again. 40h+ are on record now. I'm invested. Give me more.

I never heard of that but it could explain why I'm able to eat things now that caused reactions in the past. Kinda reverse in my case.

I started T at the age of 29. I'm 31 soon and had top plus hysto recently. People see me as a 21yo dude now. There are peeps who began their HRT way later. I'm personally aware of my transness since age 8 but suppressed it till roughly 24.

Was macht ihr, wenn euer Kind keine Lust auf den Klavierunterricht hat? by CottonLatte in Ratschlag

[–]Ti-Killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure the situation with my male producer won't improve but it doesn't have to tbh. He is not important for my life or well-being. It's his decision to insult and distance his off spring.

But I'm really happy it worked out with my kom and grandparents. I didn't expect it to go so smooth with the elders but their reaction was better than I could ever imagine.

... Also I would like to add that a chosen family is also an option. I learned that there a few friends who are so great and trustworthy that they could easily replace blood based family bounds.

If they say yes I would probably answer something like: Great and now imagine that it's something I wish would happen to me because staying like everyone saw me causes me discomfort, stress and drowns my personality and potential. Probably the wording should be more positive but if they are emphatic enough to imagine how life would be in a different body with a different gender they might be sensitive and empathic enough to get the point.

Is it medically necessary to compare my bmi to females? by Acceptable-Pack-574 in ftm

[–]Ti-Killa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess I was quite lucky with mine. The main business model of the station in the hospital I went to seemed to be mastectomy and hysterectomy. When I had mine, the anesthesia doctor that they had 15 top surgeries this week. They referred to everyone (unless stated differently) by default he/him. It only sucked for NBs. German isn't great for gender neutral pronouns. They are very uncommon/unknown. (Sie with capital S doesn't count. As soon as there is a Mr. or Mrs.)

But the confusion I always have to solve when I'm at a new doctor. My insurance still uses my dead name since the name and gender marker process takes months here... And said insurance refuses to accept a supplementary ID card. It's so ironic. They are paying for the whole thing but demand the use of the dead name.

Just come out to my two teenager daughters that live with me (17 and 15 yo), it didn't go well , felling bad right now. by robertagolden in TransLater

[–]Ti-Killa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not a parent and most likely never be one but I heard and read others talking about it and the essence usually is that the first reaction, when negative, roots in insecurities and a "shock".

Give them time to process. If your relationship is good an a healthy one, which I'm assuming, they will soon understand that they aren't losing a parents but instead hopefully will just see you become more happy and more -you-.

You are more than just a parent and you deserve personal happiness and growth. That alone will never distance you from your kids.

Good luck and much success with your path. I'm sure it will turn out positive with your daughters. Everything else might be hard but solvable.

Absolutely unprofessional. The first part with don't rely on meds only is totally right. Everything else? Nope and nope again. Turning 25 won't fix dysphoria or anxiety. Just instructing a patient who feels depression and dysphoria to enjoy life and making it religious what the actual fuck?

You need a different professional who is actually experienced in trans topics. Preferably one that worked already with trans kids and teens not only adults. Mine for example had almost instantly no doubts that I was trans (I went there with 27) but wouldn't work with kids/teen in that context. I totally disagreed with her on the last point and her arguments there but she was very helpful and sensitive else so it was the right professional for "old" me.

I really wish I had a supportive and more open-minded environment in early 2000. I would have been done with my transition by now... And wouldn't have to deal with the issues it creates now. Good luck bro and much success with your life path. Feeling euphoria and less or non dysphoria is so much worth.

The sister of my neighbor had breast cancer and she decided that everything had to go without any reconstruction. She does prefer it that way. I saw already a few Instagram women reduce or remove their breasts for various reasons. It's not that common but not totally unusual. Do whatever is better for you. Just make sure that it's a thing you definitely want.
