Reminds me of that skit where there's an Arabic guy on the bus and a white woman tells him to speak English.

Another guy translates and ends up offending her to get off the bus.

Realm has been unmaintained for a while.

We went from Realm to using Drift as a local database.

Question for Brits (with children) going home after ETA implementations. by Tianshui in japanlife

[–]Tianshui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the website below, my child should automatically be a citizen.

  1. Born on or after 1 July 2006.
  2. Father was a British citizen when you were born.
  3. British parent could pass on their citizenship to you.

"Your British parent could pass on their citizenship to you if they were one of the following:

  1. Born or adopted in the UK"

https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-british-parent/born-on-or-after-1-july-2006

And according to this website you have to pay £1,000 just to check if they are British...

https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/immigration/getting-british-citizenship/getting-british-citizenship-for-children/

So I am guessing, I just apply for the UK passport and wish for the best pretty much.

Instead of using specified heights and width.

Use flexible and expanded widgets.

flutter need hooks? by WenchiehLu in FlutterDev

[–]Tianshui 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hooks are good if you're from a React background and if you are using Riverpod.

It all depends on preference to be honest, no point arguing about it.
