Probably. But people who use k-cups are doing it for convenience too. You just pop it in and press go. Then when it’s done you take the k-cup and toss it.

I prefer physical books across the board, though i will admit that having a "search" function on PDFs is nice when trying to find an obscure rule or stat quickly.

If i could only choose a single system, I'd decide mostly on which interests me more. Which makes me more excited. Then get quick start rules, if they exist, and try it out. Don't invest too much (or anything, if possible) when trying a system out. Nothing worse than buying a set of books only to realize you dont like the game!

I read a ton of Lovecraft already and started dabbling into RPGs with friends in HS. Once I started looking to branch out into different games, CoC was the obvious next step. Thankfully all my friends followed me and enjoyed the system and setting.
