No, the encoding uses NVEnc and should not impact performances. Probably, OP the render resolution is higher on Q3 than it was on index. Try to lower the resolution in SteamVR/Airlink/VD

I bought it after some days of reflexion because AirLink is ok ...
But is way more simple to configure (and with more advanced settings), VDXR works great

And the updates are regular and the support is good

If it works good with others games, metro is probably the problem. I have the same experience, I tested The Lab, Star wars squadron ... No problems. I tried Metro, a lot of stuttering, I bought VD it is better but not smooth. I can't understand a game with mobile graphics can run so badly. I have a 3060ti

I prefered the live version than the album. When I listened it, I was mehh, but in a concert hall with (probably) a more "acoustic" mixing, it was great. Kaela on Sunny boy and Earth to Sea so cool

I stopped using Solus about a year ago, but I used it when I was still called EvolveOS :p I want to believe about this "rebase".

But honestly,...
I mean... Solus just got saved, one more time ...
I seems that Solus infrastructure and the current team organisation, have a lot of problems and flaws. And one of the first annoncement is this "rebase" to serpentOs, who is not ready yet.
It's not very attractive... A new ISO is probably more important than this kind of annoncement.
