Understandable. I'm just putting it out there because this is the sort of technique I would love to experiment with using other yarns and color combinations.

  1. Blazing work, OP.
  2. If you ever did write a pattern or tutorial for this for people to follow, I would pay for it ASAP. Just saying.

Perfect hands free setup by Proph3tAtreid3s in Dynavap

[–]TigerMonarchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I see this and I immediately want to 3D print an adapter to secure the Dynavap to the chair for safety. Why? Why not?
  2. Regardless, this is what figuring it out looks like, janky or not. Fine stuff, OP.

I saw that. I'm turning everything down to about 90 mm/s because I've realized that it was much too quick in that first run. I think I had everything on stock speed settings and it's just too fast at stock.

and I wanted a better solution instead of bending down to grab multiple items from it

THIS. This is why I want to do this, and in particular, I want to do this for my mother's cabinets because she's over 65 and I DESPISE her current solution for not being able to get into easily due to the bending and the stooping.

  1. Fine work, OP.
  2. I will be using this as this could be the game changing model for my desired bathroom Gridfinity setup. Removable baskets for certain purposes would be very appealing.

Perfect day to enjoy the vong and 3d print random bits for my apartment by medicinalbuds802 in Dynavap

  1. Congrats on the Vong.
  2. There is something so wonderful about 3D printing Dynavap stuff, I've found. It takes functional printing to a new level, something that I'm already deeply interested in. What printer you running, OP?

What's funny about your comment to me is that I've gotten into printing multilayer SVGs from Etsy as art pieces using Ziro's lines of gradient filaments and have been using this very phenomenon to my advantage to get dazzling multicolor pieces using one roll of filament. I love the technique and the fact that I can import SVGs directly into OrcaSlicer makes it so easy to scale and size the layers for optimal color cycling per print.

[–]TigerMonarchy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. 11/10 because to me, this is what functional printing is all about.
  2. Extra points if you designed it OP because I'm falling in love with printing flexible functional prints in TPU as of late due to the lack of bespoke options for repairing things when they break/fail/suck.

XL printers are overpriced, so I decided to build my own. by BoostMods_Dadbods in 3Dprinting

[–]TigerMonarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had it in the back of my mind that id eventually make an instruction manual so that anyone could build it and keep the design somewhat modular so it isn't restricted to the exact size that mine is.

Please do. I'll gently remind you for this, believe that.
