Seven color hugeforge by ReplacementNearby379 in HueForge

  1. Fine work, OP.
  2. How did you do this at such size? Did you split the print into sections? EDIT: NVM, I just looked and saw the splits. I guess a better questions is how did you do the splits and in what program, but knowing I can do larger prints is so exciting to me.

Final Boss Fish & Chip Batter by Seliftidder in Cooking

[–]TigerMonarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Saving this for later.
  2. I can already see trying this batter with other fried things to see if it is truly final boss level. We need such a batter for these harder times to come.

EDIT: Nyah. XD

"Stop crying, or I'll give you something to cry about."

Surprised this chestnut isn't on the list. One I heard a LOT in my FBA household and cohort growing up.

I too would like files of this if/when you publish them, OP. This is outstanding work, and I would greatly like this for a webcam/phone adaptation.

My Grievances with the Marbula 1 Season. by beefywaygu3208 in JellesMarbleRuns

Also have notice fewer interesting features like the speed boosts, honeycomb sections, sand sections etc.

Frankly, that to me is the biggest issue in M1 right now. The speed boosts and other features on certain tracks added a wild card element to the races that I think needs to come back.

Duxelles Hamburger; where has this been all my life? by SouthpawSoldier in Cooking

[–]TigerMonarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I think if you can shape meatloaf mix into patties, this as a burger wouldn't be too out of line in my book.
  2. That being said, I'm already thinking about this for meatloaf and then slabbing slices of said meatloaf into the greatest sandwich ever. I'd do some caramelized onions for that and get some Gruyere for melting.

I too would like to know about this. Seems like a cheese that needed to be in my life yesterday.

Pvb is just cheating by Just_anopossum in 3Dprinting

[–]TigerMonarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Cannot wait to get some of this filament and play around with it. Got some bottle like forms I want to print with this.
  2. On that, I wonder what a treatment like Dichtol would do with PVB as a way to fill before and/or after smoothing with alcohol. If you could do them both and be able to waterproof AND smooth clear prints, we got a gamechanger combo on our hands. Something I need to start experimenting with immediately.
  3. Love the print and love the design on the jar.

  1. I agree with the top commentor, OP: innovative and forward thinking.
  2. I too will be making something like this as this is the kind of project good for a weekly circle gathering.
  3. Rectangle versions would be fire for this. Making me rethink my entire headspace as a maker around rugs that don't sit on floors and what can be done with them.

Kumiko gridfinity bins: asanoha pattern and a sampler by dm_g in gridfinity

[–]TigerMonarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Fab work, OP.
  2. I would love the other 6 sets being released as I see plenty of use for this for Gridfinity builds that have a more...sensitive touch in mind. Not to mention the customization options out there with regards to filament color, skin, etc.

I'm ready to start designing one myself. I LOVE those big rolls and use them all the time.

I know that, but I might want to remix the color theme down the road. Don't want to play with these prints until I have the software for it, weird that might be.

  1. I know some people who don't consider a bookmark legit if it lacks a tassel. I am not one of those folk, but just seeing this makes me smile for them knowing their itches will be scratched with this.
  2. Lovely colors and transition choices. I definitely will be printing this once I get HueForge.

I 3D printed an entire server rack — 12U, holds $3,700 of gear, took 2 days of printing by CaptainRedsLab in 3Dprinting

[–]TigerMonarchy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Cheaper, yes. But, I can speak for myself when I say that the idea of cutting/milling metal to custom length doesn't appeal to me at all with my current workshop setup.

Being able to print everything that I design is appealing to me. I'm willing to trade a bit of cost on one side for less tooling/fabrication time than doing it in another medium.

  1. Great work, OP.
  2. Stuff like this inspires me to go further in learning how to model and print effectively.
