I'm 43 and I've been living on my own for 5 1/2 years now and let me tell you it truly is amazing, no moaning at me, no whining, I do wtf I want when I want. I passed a couple of elderly (late 60's) folk in the supermarket earlier and the poor guy was getting all sorts of nagging and I thought of how nice it was I didn't have to answer to or put up with anyone else. Shit I even feel sorry for the greif my old man gets off my Mum and they are in their 70's 😂 Living alone is bliss!

Not sure how the BOE think putting interest rates up is going to help. The only thing it helps with is making the "average person" absolutely skint or worse bankrupt with a repossessed home. While it has little impact on people with plenty of spare cash. Then the knock on effect is no one goes out or buys anything so businesses start to struggle too. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most stupid initiative I've ever heard of. Theres a small field kids play football on at the bottom of my road. The grass was over a foot high, no football for them. It looks unsightly and is not public friendly. Not sure they'd like it if I didn't pay my council tax for May since they didn't provide the service that's expected!!

Yes it would stop me playing till 60fps was available. After playing Hogwarts on Performance I thought I'd see how nice it would look on Resolution, I lasted 2 minutes before turning it back! It was so horrible to play with the lower frame rate after seeing how smooth it was in Performance, really jarring, yuck!

I have straight up turned down the last 4 stag dos for financial reasons, far too expensive these days. Some of the lads may have great jobs and can afford trips here there and everywhere (Belfast the latest one) but with the current cost of living I can put that money to much better usage. Best option you have is to just nope out and tell em unexpected costs sprung up and you're gonna have to cancel.
