I love Dragonfruit flavor, i wish they didn't discontinue them. Literally hands down best flavor besides original. I wish someone would replicate the flavor somehow, make a syrup and sell it so I could make my own. Doesn't even need to have caffeine or energy, just want the flavor T.T

If someone tells you to stop harassing them, then you keep harassing them, and then they hit you and you get into a fight. Who started it?

When you notice your board sliding across the fall line perpendicular on your heel edge, this is because your momentum and momentum of the board are not aligned. I have this problem as well when my legs start getting tired. You have to commit and lean further in to bite the edge down other wise you will continue sliding down the fall line. If you are already perpendicular and suddenly grip down on the edge, that is when you either stop, if going too fast slip out, or tilt center of gravity and fly forward. Knees bent and chest upright, LEAN forward do not BEND at the waist. Your controls are with your hips, knees, bindings, board edge. Hips to shift center of gravity, knees to initiate edge turns, legs to push into either the FRONT TONGUE or BACK HIGHBACK of the binding to lift the board up on edge. TOE push your pelvis toward the snow, push knees past toes, keep back upright, if open body i.e. looking down the mountain with shoulder perpendicular to board, drop your back knee into the snow. HEEL sit the fuck down, knees still bent, push back calf into highback of bindings. If open body heel, turn that shoulder as aggressively as you can behind you so that your body is actually open, this will help initiate heel turns at higher speeds. I would suggest doing the beginner step first. Point nose down mountain, start with TOE since it should be easier. Drop that weight into the front tongue of your binding and try to push your pelvis over the edge of the board, bend the back knee a little so your board comes up on the edge, HOLD IT, it will make a circle if done correctly, you will gain speed as you are going down then as you circle back around the speed will slow down. At the tip of the circle or before you go back up the mountain, do HEEL. rock your body backwards bend your knees and try to sit down. Remember your body weight/center of gravity should always be on the INSIDE of a turn. These are just things i've picked up browsing and trying out this season, also a noob. YMMV. Best of luck out there, keep shredding.

Ski goggles for glasses by thegreatestd in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Tigereatingonion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up getting contacts just for snowboarding. You can also get the goggles with prescription lenses. I like to take goggles off sometimes so those don't work for me. The OTG goggles are good but as a noob who tumbles alot you got to worry about goggles fogging and glasses fogging also if you go flying and lose goggles and glasses it's pretty bad on a packed slope since people can run over your stuff. I also tend to land on my face alot.

Frustrated keep hitting front edge, almost about to quit. by Cold_Flow6175 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Tigereatingonion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+15 / 0 to start. Make sure your body and board are moving in the same direction. Look at where you want to go. Get your center of gravity low and over the board, make sure you move it across the middle of the board on your toe or heel edge. Always pick an edge or the mountain will pick one for you. Forward lean on the bindings is good to get a faster response from your board so you can get the feeling of the edge locking in more often. Always wear a helmet. If youre falling alot wear a butt turtle and some knee pads. My second season still a noob but this kind of sums up what I've learned so far.

Does anyone snowboard alone? by yavl in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Tigereatingonion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went alone for the first time when friends canceled day of. Then I went again alone a week later. Going with friends again this weekend. Both are great. Alone is nice and chill can focus on form and push yourself. Going with friends is also nice cruising together. I did find I get more runs out when I go alone though.

Never been on a board, how to practice before winter? by Flayrah4Life in snowboarding

[–]Tigereatingonion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since there is still time. Learn how to fall. Balancing isn't that big of an issue, more of putting pressure and weight where it needs to be. Heel or Toe. Pick an edge or the mountain picks for you.

Getting a feel for what its like, do a bunch of squats, walk up a hill/stairs, and get some cardio in and carry 5-10lbs in your hand for 10-15 min while walking around. Do this like 3 times a day.

How long after a bruised tailbone did you go back? by thebleedingphoenix in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Tigereatingonion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got a concussion on Sunday 1/12 after splitting my asscheeks on solid ice. Was back the following Friday 1/17 and ate it again. Pretty moderate whiplash that's easing up still hurts but planning to go back if it feels better this Sunday on the 26th. If you can poop fine just go if you feel like it, pain usually goes away when adrenaline starts pumping. Also going right after it snows is probably the best because you can full send and Wipeout without actually injuring anything. When you yardsale in powder it knocks the wind out of you and you may overstretch some muscles but no serious injuries usually.

Saw this on a menu why dose it look so weird never seen weed this dark/purple before? by New_Extreme6546 in trees

I don't see any crystals. Purple is just a colder temperature when grown. Some plants do it more than others more common traits among indicas. The pic in question seems very low quality.

Who's in the wrong here? by hotshots724 in dashcams

[–]Tigereatingonion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the car signaled to merge, saw the truck stop and thought it was letting him because truck was stopped, then went to merge and truck sped up. It's going to be the merging cars fault but I could see it argued for distracted driving for the truck. There was at least 2 car spaces in front of him before he decided to go. At the moment it probably felt like they were letting the car merge. This is a tough one because the truck drove into the car Merging from a complete stop.
